Thumbs up Jones Beach Saturday?

Matt, Lynne, Tom, and anyone else interested,
How about meeting at Jones Beach around 10:00AM this Saturday?
Where to meet? Perhaps someone more familiar with the parking lots could suggest one as a point to rally.

Default all are welcome

By all means mysteriumZ, the more cars the more colors the better, we have talked about a possible caravan but a route was never decided upon. think of the heads we will turn! If you or any other participants have a digital camera please bring it.

Hey everyone,

Please keep me in the loop. I've owned 2 Zs, and am considering getting the new one (probably next year). I'd love to see some live and up close (as opposed to the NY Auto Show), and be able to see the difference in the colors.

Both of my previous ones were black, but I'm intrigued by the Brickyard and the Le Mans. I also like the Red and both Silvers. Choices...choices...

Default Meet at the West Bath House parking field

Everyone,

Let's meet at the West Bath House parking field. I don't remember the number, but it is pretty obvious from the road.

See you all at 10am.

This car is simply awesome.

Default good question

I'm taking Robert Moses Parkway then Ocean parkway West. I plan to travel to the Water Tower and go around it. Then head back East hoping its on my right side. Matt C, if your reading this, how about some guidance being you chose the spot.

Default water tower and flagpole

Tom the West Bath house is by the water tower and flag pole. It is the main field. You probably could take Wantagh State Parkway South to that area if I remember correctly.

The Publisher of SportsZ Magazine is interested in seeing some of the shots we take, so don't forget the camera!!

Default Head south

Tom take Robert Moses South(go over the bridge) to exit for Jones Beach, thats Ocean Parkway. Travel West until you reach the big Tower I believe the concert hall is on your right. There is a traffic circle there go around it and start heading back East on your right will be West Bath house.

Default Late post

Sorry for the late post, but I was driving.

Directions: what everyone else said.

In general, get on the Ocean Parkway (I love the O sign) and head towards Jones Beach. The Bath Houses are the "main" big buildings on the beachfront and are clearly labeled in the granite archways. Ocean Parkway is very flat and open, so no problem seeing it from either side of the highway.

I will bring a digital camera as well.

See y'all at 10am.

My wife and I met Dan at Smithtown Nissan last night. Thanks to everyone for the recommendations. He's the first car salesman I've met who really knows about cars.

We went there to see the different colors in real life. We saw the Le Mans, the Silverstone, the Pikes Peak, and the Chrome Silver. Then we went to dinner. On the way home, we saw the Chrome Silver one on the road. It may have been a different one, but it had the aero package like the one that had been up on the ramp in front of the showroom, which was gone when we passed the showroom after dinner.

Let me just say, the exhaust note was absolutely beautiful, as is the car. My wife and I are working on a timeline for getting one. We'd like to get it and still keep our WRX.

We'll be there on Saturday with our camera, too. We told Dan we'd get some shots for him.

We look forward to meeting everyone!

Dan, it was great meeting you, too. I should have known that you wouldn't leave that Z all alone in the dark! Seeing the Z on the road definitely put a nice bookend on our Z night out.

We've got the camera fired up and ready to go! I hope we get a bunch of different colors to show up.
