I'm figuring turning off traction controll will yield faster times. Also at what RPM should clutch be dropped at. I have 1065 Miles on the car so far, changing oil tomorrow. Have redlined it several times, and have not had too many of the issues most people have except my ash tray broke and a little gear whine. Any idea on what type of oil I should use for the oil change? I am having dealer do it, should I bring in my own oil or will they have the right stuff.

turning off VDC definately makes the car feel faster. So it must equal more power to wheels. but i dont know if the added burnout will yield better times. Try it and let us know what happens.

I was so happy with the performance that I had not paid attention to the TCS, but the last few days I have turned it off when I remember and it feels like it is more responsive like the TCS deadens the response, it might be mental but it feels that way. I haven't timed anything.

True, but come on, you should def. be able to drop cluth @ 2000 without worrying about your car unless their are significant problems in the desgin. I owned a Z32TT for years, no problem with dropping the clutch, hard acceleration etc. and this engine is supposed to be much more reliable.
