its been fun...
just decided today to move to a different platform...
The z was my dream car since i was 15 (2005)....
I bought my Z 2 years ago and have been through hell and back with it...
Blew the clutch out; paid nissan to replace..
engine blew up; replaced myself with a reconditioned engine
a drunk girl backed up into the car; had to replace hood fender light bumper...
and just last weekend someone broke in stealing my stereo and kicker 1000.1 amp..
Too much bad luck with this car once i get everything repaired and fixed i will be trading it in to change to the 2013 mustang gt...love this community without a doubt one of the best technical communities ive ever been apart of.
I read and learned soooo much; i will be taking the skills ive learned from here to that platform. F.I. on the new mustang are reaching up to 800 rwhp stock block so im pretty excited

Good luck! I went from a Mustang to my Z and love it, but sooner or later I'm gonna trade in for a new GT for sure. A friend of mine has been a Honda driver/enthusiast since he could drive, and he finally got rid of his 3rd Civic and bought a 2012 Mustang GT. In case you haven't driven one of the new (2010+) Mustangs, they are GREAT cars - both in power and handling (comparable to an M3), however they feel like boats. It's a weird feeling, but they're amazing cars for sure.

haha the blue is very purdy but im going with black
and this is the first model mustang ive ever really liked. Have never really cared for the look of the mustangs, or the power for that matter. But with the new found horses they are putting out it is very hard to resist. The revised 2013 model is a bit under talks tho.
Seems as if the 2013 models got rid of the oil squirters because of windage issues, but some special coating of the pistons is suppose to replace the effect of the squirters and make them stronger; Well see tho im pretty excited ive never owned a brand new car before it will be my first

Good luck!
I've warmed up to the new Mustangs.Especially the 600+hp.
But,its a Mustang.Does not do anything for me.
In fact few if any American cars do.But,if I had 200k,a Ford GT
would be in the garage!

Didnt know u were here either
Ya everyone drives a mustang but i have been seeing alot of 350z's around this area too now (stockton, ca). Ive never been a mustang fan until now. The 2013 is the first i really liked and has the hp to back it up. If it didnt i would of went 06 or 07 vette.

most of my problems are mechanical not theft/vandalism. ive lived in stockton my whole life :P its not as bad as some people might think. The problem is people involved themselves in crap they shouldn't; gangs, drugs, etc. There are alot of powerful people and very talented people that live in this city and come from this city.

Good luck with the new car, seems like you bought a bad example of a 350z from another owner who didn't take care of it. I've had 0 issues since 05.

The newest models of the Mustang are gorgeous for sure. I have an '03 and it's taken quite a beating since high school...
But I love my Z way too much to revert. My next car will be another Z most likely.
