Default 07 or newer vs older

Is there much difference between 07 and up and older? I am looking for a roadster and they are not too easy to find in this area. There are a few older ones. Looking into a touring model with 6MT.

Major difference is the engines.03-05 cars had the DE motor.
06 on had the HR engine. The HP was tweaked with the HR engine.
FYI,some 06 models had oil consumtion problems. The is much info
on this...search the threads.Other changes between models were mostly cosmetic.

Not being a ball buster, but the HR came in the 07 and 08 (09 roadsters). It was still a DE in the 06, although HP was bumped to 300 that year.

Rev-up motors were also in 05 Track and 35th Anniversary models ,also in 06 the automatic did not have the Rev-up motor but a non rev.
07-09 350Z came with HR (09 convertible only)
