I just got the clear bra installed yesterday, I am still not sold on it due to some imperfections but I am giving it a few days as I was told it was like window tinting where you have to let some of the bubbles go away. I was on the fence on this specially after being quoted 900-1200 for it, but I came across this company that wanted to make templates and offered to do it for free so how could I lose, I figured if I am not happy I can always remove it. I was only able to take a couple of pictures before it started to rain so maybe tomorrow, but here is one of the hood, the part I am most impressed with more than the bumper area.

Do ya'll think the clear bras would go over on black?

I want to get one but I don't know how it'd look.

 

I can see the spoiler part of the aero kit, but I can't see any "chin spoiler" on any of the pics of Z's with aero kits. Is it very, very small?

I am not sure about black, I think it works better on bright colors because the shine hides or prevents you from seeing the bra, but with black it might be more visible, the installer told me that white was surprisingly a bad color that it showed more.

 

They cut out for the emblem, as for the front strut I am still waiting on the part, they had to special order it, so who knows how long that will be.

 

Well, as mentioned in the openning post I wasn't sold on it, even though it looked good on the picture I wasn't happy specially with the bumper piece it was done in 4 pieces and seams were evident. After reading many of the threads, and mikeinatlanta's recommendation of Pepi down here I decided to get it done right, and although not cheap as mike warned I am happier. It is all in the installation and expertize of the installer, the guys that did it for free tried again and just could not get the bumper down right. Here is a picture of the car and you really can't tell until you are within 1 foot of the car and you are looking for it. The bright color helps also.

 

Here is a picture of the headlight area, in the free version they cut a slit to get it to lay down in the curve, this one you can;t tell it is there.

 

He also wrapped the edges so you don't see any seams other than the areas you can't roll like the back edge of the hood.
