It sucks that complete morons are now able to get their hands on 350z's. I've been seeing a lot of threads lately that just make cringe. I'm in high school and I'm depressed because I can't afford to mod my car. Or my 17 year old friend tells me how he is going to buy a better car than me, can you guys believe that? And now, I'm drunk, stupid, and burned out my clutch, I better tell lots of people.

That's not a problem at all. Next time you go to the gym, assuming you work out, start by deadlifting 350!

why join a forum to post about you abusing the car for which the forum was created?
as price drops for this car, so does IQ for the people who can now buy them

Next time your drunk and decide to drive your car, practice your autocross skills in a parking lot that contains many light poles.

Ayrton Senna drove the majorty of a Formula 1 race in 6th gear due to a broken gear box. And won.

But then again he was sober.

First of all, don't drink and drive. Second of all, yes you can do it but you'll burn the living crap out of your clutch. Ive started from fifth rather easily, and I did try 6th, but i stopped soon after i got going because it wasn't worth buying a new clutch.

Because my friend was telling a story (also a z owner) saying he thought his car was 5 gears and did the same thinking it was reverse. I didn't believe he started it in 6th so I gave it a shot, sounded like a good idea to me at the time because I was drunk

Furthest I've done was 3rd, till a few days ago

Didn't burn out my clutch, just burned up. Not really my problem, nor do I care if you can't afford to mod out your car. Just being honest here

Because I can
Btw, nice insult. Never knew you needed a high IQ to buy a car? But then again I only got a 2 digit IQ so i have no idea what I'm talking about 0.0 moron...

I didn't drive? Lol I started it in 6th, parked, went to drink more. I crashed out there, I don't drink and drive.

I don't drink and drive, I drink and do stupid things. Huge difference lol
Yeah I found that out the hard way, I never went passed starting higher than 3rd because I didn't want to burn my clutch, except this one and final time

Btw, I love all the people talking crap. How petty does your life have to be to talk crap on a forum where people go to post about random things to see what others have to say about it. You guys are all cool, keep em coming

not sure if having a contest with yourself on how far you can push the limit of clutch slipping is a good idea.

im sorry, but you'll never be jeremy clarkson in a Z06 engaging the beast in 5th all the way from 0-170. youre simply not tall enough.

good luck on your journey though.

You guys should see the motorcycle forums I've been apart of....you think this is bad, try an 18 y/o kid that can spend 4k on a bike that'll go 0-60 in 3 seconds. On two wheels and usually in shorts and a t shirt. These kids talking about plasti dipping, starting in 6th gear, or driving drunk are nothing compared to the things I've seen on bike forums! That said, why would anybody ever try to start a car in 6th? I feel sorry for your car. And please don't drive drunk. I don't care if you kill yourself because you're an idiot, but have decency to think of other people before you do it.

.....I let my girlfriend borrow the Z for a short drive a few days ago and got a phone call from her crying because she had "killed the car, didnt know if she was in reverse, and was too afraid to try a second time". I can only imagine she tried to reverse in sixth gear- she won't be driving the car anymore haha.
