Default Complete stock 2005 350z, looking for upgrade path

Hi, Im looking a for a solid upgrade path for performance on my stock 350. I've looked on quite a few sites but nobody is able to give me a solid answer. Help?
Edit* The most sound path I found was one that said to get these upgrades in order
Injin Cold Air Intake
Exhaust
New cooling hoses along with radiator
Does this seem right?

Goal?

Best upgrade is the driver mod, plenty of track days at Autoclub, Willow and Buttonwillow to choose from. The figure out what needs to be upgraded.

After I become the best driver that I can be though, what kind of mods would benefit the car the most? Obviously a tune I know but would I do that after everything is said and done?

Start with,$$$$.What do you have to spend?
No sense dreamin if can't have the doin.
Personally,I get a bit aggitated by guys that have all these big plans of
FI and have no way to ever get it done.As far as a "path to performance"goes,
don't expect too much with bolt-ons.When it all over, you may add another 20-25hp.
There are some traditional paths. You mentioned a few in your list:CAI,exhaust.
Don't know why you are looking at a new radiator&hoses unless you are plannin
to track your car...?I'd add a spacer,HFC's or test pipes to your list.Check all your suspension&brakes.A tune would get the best out of you bolt-ons.

All the information in this thread is very helpful. I would highly recommend you read this entire thread before jumping into anything.

IMO if you want power that will really mean something go FI. No sense in wasting cash on mods for minimal gains if any.

You act as if you will become an awesome driver over night.

You can setup suspension and get smoked at a road course by a stock Z with a driver.

You could do all the bolt ons and a tune and get raped down the drag strip by a stock Z.

CAI = fail. Unbelievable after all these years people still run em and recommend them on this platform.

MREV2 is for any DE, not just revup.

It doesn't matter what order you do your mods. I agree with Alberto though, you are NOT going to become an amazing driver overnight. Post pics of your car.

they were made to replace the crappy lower plenums in the rev-ups. the lower plenums in the regular DE's are fine.

Not debating that. Everywhere I read says they can be used in any DE for increased power, not just the revup. Maybe I read too much into your post and thought you were saying MREV2 is only for revup?

it'd be kind of like putting a plenum spacer on an HR engine

Drive it first, worry about other stuff later. Report back after your first trackday or 10

Honestly I would look to upgrade handling and braking before attempting any major increase in power like FI. Exhaust, intake, and tune are cheap low power upgrades.

When I started to mod, first mod was steering wheel. Then went and did supsension (suspension has been on going because of feathering and oem parts wore out with better supension parts that I was using), then exhaust and intake, then brake upgrade (I only upgraded pads, rotors, and brake lines), then clutch and flywheel. My seats were next upgrade because I have base model and the cloth seats are terrible. Next upgrade is going to be differential, and tie rods. FI will be down the road, but for now I like the way my car handles. It is very precise handling not like oem. It drives completely different than stock.

You should just crash. That's the best the car can hope for.

Depending on your budget
1. Plenum spacer
2. Upgrade your Intake (3.5” intake) and if you have the funds upgrade to the 76mm throttle body
3. Cat back exhaust
4. 3.9 gearing differential

to maximize the efficiency of those mods, highly recommend a tune. You will definitely require a tune if you go with a 3.5” Intake. Or you can opt for a 3” intake setup and your car will run fine without a tune unlike a 3.5”
a tune will bring happiness to your life
