Default 350Zs FOR SALE!!!???

Why are there so many Zs for sale on ebay and elsewhere.... What does this say about the car? There are tons for sale even right here on the forum! Ebay has a handful of 04's even, some of which are private sales, as opposed to dealer online sales....

Whats up with this, and is it something to be concerned by?

thx

doesnt say anything about the car. just buy the damn thing already lol....hell buy a used one and take advantage.

sports cars are not practical and dont work well in the winter. alot of people bought the z as a primary driver without thinking it through i'm guessing...sports cars in general are usually emotionally motivated purchases so it would make sense to me that people get into a z without really thinking it through. my z is a weekend car so no problems here

Some buy it and dont like it or want something new and take that huge loss. Some might be having financial hardships it is to many things to list, this is not only the 350 I see lots of people selling 02/03/04 cars which isnt wise.

some people do buy it as an impulse buy, and there were alot of 03s sold, therefore there are going to be alot up for sale. its not like 50% of the Zs sold are up for sale. It isnt a practical car for most people, and that has alot to do with it. Some simply cant afford it, while they thought they could. Nothing to worry about.

i haven't seen that many on sale at the main car buying sites like carsdirect and autotrader.

edit: i just did a search at ebay. there were 57 350Zs for sale. by random comparison, there were 29 rsxes, 32 wrxes, and 27 s2000s for sale.

I'm sure some of them found the car impractical for daily use...
and maybe some found it undrivable in snow with OEM RE040

I LOVE MINE!

you would have to look at the number sold vs the number being sold of both RSXs and Zs. 350Zs outsold RSXs by a whole lot in 2003, that would explain the greater amount of 350s for sale.

I agree with the practicallity aspect of most people selling there Z's...two seaters are hard to live with unless you have a second vehicle...I like that fact...keeps the Z a bit more exclusive...I'd hate to see the Z become a dime a dozen car...

It's definitely a function of volume, and for some, the Z was too impractical, or something came up (new house, baby born) that forced a sale, others were dissatisfied with the power potential of the car, but it seems a lot of people buy a car, drive it for about a year, and decide to get something else. Like me, for example. I'm sure around winter of 04, I'll be looking to get an M3 or something.
