I road tested the Z when it first came out and fell in love with the intake and mechanical sound of the engine. I have just now taken delivery of beautiful blue baby and it seems to be more subdued than the early models I drove. Am I mistaken?

The car def. gets a bit louder as it get broken in. Not much,but a bit. Also, I can't wait until the summer again because the sound with the windows down is intoxicating.

I've got an Injen cold air intake and Stillen stainless steel dual exhaust and the car sounds great, even in fifth. Purchased it used, so I really don't know how it sounded originally. I did drive an '03 at the dealership and they had a cold air intake and that car also sounded good. The combination seems to make it that much better.
