Default To St.Louis we will go . . .

The Crawford crew and some MTZC members will be going to pick up Doug’s new 2004 DB Enthusiast which will replace his 2003 (see pic)

We will be leaving the Nashville area around noon on Friday and be getting there just in time to go out for drinks and dinner. We intend on partying it up for a while and being as we call it "neighborly".

So anyone that wants to join us on the trip or while we are there, post here and we can arrange something. Any dinner suggestions . . . something special to StL?

We will be picking the car up at Bommarito Nissan on Saturday morning. Then heading home after some lunch or something.

i am a potential Z buyer in STL and would love to see a few modded Zs. how many cars do you expect to have in the group? i'd love to drop by the dealer when you are all there just to check out your rides if you don't mind.

The driver of the car was on the gas too much in a corner and lost control. The car flipped 3 times. Both diver and passenger walked away with minor scratches and maybe a bruised ego.

On restaurants: We want something unique and fun. We are a loud and rowdy bunch so nothing that would hinder that.

Doug is excited to be getting his Z back. So far there are 5 of us coming down. I don’t know if we will be caravanning Z’s down yet or not. I would prefer to keep the miles off mine but if we get a larger group I may change my mind.

Vandy,

Did he have the side curtain bags? That roof is mangled and I am 6'2" tall. I can see a big head ache coming on!

No side air bags. Please remember the car was probably going very very fast, it got loose in a curve and swiped a brick mailbox, then started tumbling as it left the road. The car is very very safe especially for the conditions of the accident.

check out those strip bars across the river (IL side HWY 3) next to the Monsanto plants, they were my favorite when I was traveling all over the country.

Hey, I live in STL too. What kind of food you like? Plenty of places to go, I reccommend Clayton or the Central West End. Head to those areas, and there are plenty of places to go. Lemme know if you need some names. Also you can always check www.stlouis.citysearch.com .

BTW. I agree that Bommarritto is the best dealer. Bought mine from Fusz, and I regret it! Thos F'ers are terrible with customer service, I always go to Bom's now.

Hey St Louis what about the river front area is it as good as it used to be. Haven't been down there in several years the last time was about 3 years ago when we came up to go racing.
We went downtown and had a blast.

I got my Z at Bommarito, too! Our Nashville Z's will be cousins.

What salesman? If it is Todd, ask if he remembers delivering one last year on a Sunday at the end of the year to a guy that rode the bus up because he couldn't get a flight in at a reasonable hour.

St. Louis is my old stomping ground... went to college at Wash U. The best restaurant in St. Louis by far is called Tony's... I've been there many times... great, great food. The name sounds common, but this place has been ranked in the top 5 italian restaurants in the country for many years. If you're more of a burger and beer crowd... then there's only one place to go... Blueberry Hill. It's in the loop on Delmar. It's a pretty famous bar and grill, good food, good crowd. For the after party I would suggest checking out some of the clubs on Washinton Ave. The best club is called Velvet, open until 5 or 6 AM. The other clubs on that strip change names pretty frequently, but just walking up and down there you can find a few.

Have fun.

lol... that's east st. louis... sketchy as fock...lol. But yeah, Diamond Cabaret, Pleasure Town and Roxy's... dirty, dirtier and dirtiest... Not to mention the most ghetto club in the country... the Oz.

Go to Laclede's Landing. There are several cool restaurants and clubs in the area. After dinner, go up to the Washington Street west of Tucker Blvd. There are lots of nice clubs along Washington.

Another nice place would be to Hill area. There are tons of good Italian restaurants throughout.

If you just want good old American food, there is a new restaurant near St Clair Square called Lottawattacreek. It's a great place and you get a lot of food for your money.

And if you are staying near Bommaritos dealership, there is a wonderful restaurant in Old Town Florissant called Hendels Market Cafe. They have great food. They are located on on St Denis Street.
