Get what you want and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Your car, your money, your headache. Achieve your goals.

Thats odd, i wrench on F-15's all day and still find time to tear cars apart. My time has been cut down a bit with a wife and kid, but still have the time.

Havn't pulled a motor yet for headers, shorties or longtube.

Same here when I was in the AF. I pulled apart C-141's all day and constantly worked on my car/friends cars. Granted I was single but working on the car took your mind off of your job for a while.

@BornSlippyZ: I don't want to break Ops or Infosec..but how long would you guys usually work? nearly every single day we work 12's. except here...guaranteed 6 day 12hrs. moneys nice in the sandbox though! Almost all of the work done to this car i've done myself...exception of the radio. I can't break into the harder jobs, pulling engine, clutch/flywheel, etc because it's my only vehicle. And I don't want to be stuck bumming rides...though I'd love to figure out how to eventually.

@Silvertouringz: haha what's so bad about the underglow? It's broken right now anyway...the tubes are wired in series and one got ripped out from underneath the car.

Well, I was in back in during the mid to late 90's, so we did not have the conflicts of today going on. Most of the time I was on 8's and on swing-shift. At the end of my enlistment I was on 12's. When I was on alert I had to hang out near the base or stay at home till called in. My friends and worked on our cars in apt. parking lots and at the base hobby/auto shop! I am talking all kinds of mods from clutches to engine swaps, my friends and I did in parking lots lol. I used to ask my friends to give me rides when my cars were apart, and I just gave them some gas $ or buy them lunch for their troubles.

Difference is I'm actually going to do this. My ART pipes are on order and I'll be updating this thread with dynos after each. So..it's more for me to keep track, or for others input and comparison.

1) please do not leave your current city and drive anywhere else in nc with that underglow. Mkes members like me look bad. This isn't fking fast and furious.

2) look at what mods you NEED for FI then start buying those prep parts. Why redo it twice?

Also as stated that is a typical wish list. Delete thread start a new one when all parts get here and it can read "Look I'm not a fubar with underglow, list of my installed parts".

Instead of posting stupid questions that a quick search could suffice call and talk to Bobby at CIN and be will tell you what to buy. But don't expect anyone including him to take you serious until money is shown. Dreamers come and go on this forum. I was 1 6 years ago difference is I didn't waste Any members time

Update. My ART pipes just came in. Things are gorgeous! I'm putting the TDX2 on order as soon as I hear a reply from MD.

As a reply, to 2004black350z: everything about your post makes me chuckle.

As soon as I get back from ***-crackistan I'll most likely rip out the lights. I don't drive enough at night to have them turned on anyway.

The tube that had gotten ripped out from under was repaired. I even connected it up and made sure it worked. Just didn't have time to re-install it before I had to pack my bags for my little fun in the sunshine tour.

I've almost convinced myself to purchase the Quaife differentials and have that installed along side the exhaust and tune. If my money's right by the 1st of March I might just do that also! The wheels will have to wait. haha!
