maaan it is hard to be patient for me when it comes to upgrading. I won't rush an install, or parts paint, etc. Needs to be done right the first time. The Carbon Fiber hood that I had was rushed by the body shop install and it cracked it on the strut bar that went over the engine. I was furious. Got my money back for that! Next time I have my car go to the shop i'll have collected the rest of the parts I want for the N/A build until I choose (have the budget) to go F.I.

which is funny because despite my adamant searching I can't find a solid list of what all needs to be gotten before going F.I. sure the usual stronger clutch/flywheel. Oil cooler. engine rebuild kit..but..apart from new springs/retainers and pistons and rods. what else goes into a top and bottom end rebuild?

Just do a piece at a time man. I'm over here is trashcanistan at the moment as well, but have decided to put everything on hold with the Z. Try to not get the cart in front of the horse when it comes to "oh yeah I'm doing a full engine build and boost." Lord have mercy, that mess is so much more expensive than most people think. 450whp in a 350 is no easy task.
Is your Z paid off completely? That's the very next mod that'll be happening to mine from this deployment money. I don't owe much on it but gonna make sure that payment is gone. I'd say there's nothing wrong with handling your bolt ons (intake/exhaust but avoid headers), then get yourself a nice re-tune. I got mine done at Z1 and it was such a nice difference! Stretch out your mods so you can enjoy them. After mine's paid off, I'm swapping to the CD0-009 tranny w/a clutch/flywheel upgrade (3rd gear synchro is going bye bye) then eventually a supercharger on low boost until something blows in the engine. By that point I can afford to have the Z down to do a build and have a daily driver to use.
I just think doing tons of mods all at once kinda sucks. I'd rather enjoy each aspect of each new mod for a little while, but to each their own. Best of luck

Oh no, haha. The whole, engine rebuild thing is WAAAY down the road. As you said, the car needs to be paid off, besides, my savings is somewhat slim after the parts I've just purchased... That right there's the next thing I'll be working on. Savings. And perhaps a project or two around the house. Resell value baby!

My motordyne ART pipes and Shockwave 2 exhaust arrived late last month! I had ordered the DC Sports Shorty headers, but was upgraded to the Ceramics because my tuners are the ****! Now I'm debating on if I want the Quaife Differentials now..or later.

I would upload the pictures as requested...but it keeps giving me an error. This is the link to the pictures of my car. I want to reiterate that the Carbon Fiber hood..HAS BEEN taken off. lol. Stock hood was put back on.

I think you'll need to put bigger injectors and fuel pump on your list as well as i don't think the OEM kit will cope with 450BHP. Please don't put neons under your Zed unless you're a massive fan of The Fast & Furious franchise. The tone of the engine will arouse peoples senses more than seeing a neon glow lighting up the tarmac.

i had honestly thought about the injectors and fuel pump, but the SC kits I'm interested in buying comes with larger injectors. Some even allow me to choose the size injector. Hadn't noticed if they provide fuel pump, but I doubt it.

I had recently ordered my Quaife Differential from CIN and Bobby himself offered a discount for their in shop made Diff mount bracket! Just around 10 days and she's going to be dropped off at CIN for the new mods and tune.
I also just bought my Kicker L7 sub and ZX750 amp. Gotta still be able to hear the tunes over the purr of the motor!

Should have went with long tube headers.
Remove the neon kit and painted standard brakes.
You need a facebook page to "keep track of your thoughts?"
Expect lower power numbers, CIN has a mustang dyno.
As for getting everything for FI, I'll sell you what I have sitting in my basement:
Brand new GTM Stage 2 twin turbo tuner kit, 3" downpipes, turbosmart wastegates with 10 psi springs, 600cc injectors, Walbro fuel pump, NGK one step colder sparkplugs, GTM 25 row oil cooler kit, Southbend stage 3.5 clutch with lightweight flywheel and HD slave & master cylinder, oil temp gauge, boost gauge and a/f gauge.
Everything you need but exhaust to run 500whp.
Shipped to your door for $9500. You won't ever beat that.

I compared the long tube headers to shorty headers with ART pipes on multiple different dyno sheets. the ART pipes produced more torque and HP through the mid and high end power band.
I don't expect to be much over 300HP based off of how other peoples dyno's turned out with similar parts, though I realize every car and dyno is different. All I can say is we will see.
Thank you for the offer, but I can't buy that right now.

Edit: None the less, I'm sure you will be happy with your purchase. Not wanting to down talk the headers.
As for the dyno number, I'm going to estimate a low 280whp number if they leave it unadjusted and not try to match a Dynojet number. It will be interesting to see the difference from your baseline run.

Since I've joined this forum i've come to realize it's not all about numbers so much as it is the gains. If I make 280HP on a mustang dyno that would match 310hp on a dynojet than I'm sure I'll feel every bit of HP and TQ that was gained. Just...to find some better wheels than these damn Nexon3000's. nitto 555's I've been thinking.
