Default Future plans, open to suggestions or critiques.

After almost a year of researching and mind changing, more researching..I believe I've finally worked out what I'm wanting to do. As the title says, I'm open to suggestions, with fact comparisons preferably as to why it's better, or critiques over what i've done so far. (If you want pictures, let me know. I'll post them up)

Current Mods:

Injin "tuned" cold air intakes. (only performance mod done so far)
Clarion CZ501 head unit W/ Sirius Radio
Greddy Front lip Gloss black w/ stock side skirts gloss black
Ruff Racing gloss w/ chrome wheels. (front: 245/40-18; rear: 275/35-18)
Spyder shorty antenna
Blue L.E.D. Neon under body and under dash kit
Custom (self) painted stock engine kit and break Calipers

Planned Mods:

DC Sports Ceramic coated headers
Motordyne ART pipes and full cat back exhaust
(debating which brand) Stiffer Engine and Trans mounts
Dyno tuned by UpRev at CIN Motorsports N.C.
Cusco Coil over suspension
Akibono Big brake kit w/ drilled/slotted rotors
Z1 Motorsports Oil cooler kit
(debating ACT or JWT) lightweight clutch/flywheel
Nismo Limited Slip Differential

Planned F.I.: (later down the road)

A full engine rebuild (bottom and top end) by Z1Motorsports GA
GTM Rotrex Supercharger kit Stage 2

I also have some extra cosmetic modifications I want/need to get done but mostly here and there. Such as scuffed up door handle, or some C.F. replacing plastic in the engine bay. Tell me what y'all think about my ideas and my direction! I hope to have close to 450HP/400TQ or more once everything is finished.

I would look into brakes , not breaks.

Also look into better wheels.

Lose the neon kit. Get clear reflectors, Put in some nice led's in the license plate and the dome lights and call it a day.

Better wheels. Never been a fan of chrome on the Z. Polished/Machined just goes better with the trim colors. IMO

*Side note* 275/35/18 is a small sidewall tire, if your going low on these, you're gonna find yourself scraping all over the ****ing place.

Headers not necessary (Big cost, little gain) unless going F.I

Might be nice to get some camber arms if your going low. That is if you haven't already.

As for the diff, Ive heard that Quaiff diffs are the ones to get on the Z. (forgive me if I spelled that wrong.)

Wont hit 450HP without FI.

That's quite a list. Over $6,000 in parts not including FI, rebuild or labor. Good luck.

I should have mentioned that I have done Bright white interior lights for both dome and trunk lights. And for the licence plate lights. It was nothing more than a 5 second minor modification....thought everyone did that?

The Chrome is able to be taken off of the wheels..some days I have them on and some days not. All depends on how I feel..or how Lazy I was at the end of washing her off!

I'll eventually be going F.I. which is why I'm wanting the headers...I figure I might as well knock out the whole exhaust at once than have to redo it later. Besides..the deeper more aggressive note will be a nice tune to listen to until I can hear the whine of the Super Charger.

I need to replace the under body glow anyway...had a minor accident that caused the front tube to be ripped out from underneath. As they are wired in series..none of the lights worked. HAH! It was a sad day but funny looking back.

You could take any car and make a list like that

"coilovers
diff
exhaust
tune
wheels/tires
sway bars
supercharger"

Take your time, save your money, buy quality parts as you go along. You should be more concerned with the priority of how you do these things rather than the total package. I would start with intake and exhaust as they're simple to do, tons of information and brands to research and find what fits your conceptualized car.

header back (test pipes/HFC, y-pipe (unless TD), cat-back) and then plenum mods, air ducts and all that other stuff.

Then you can look into the coilovers and wheels and tires and sway bars and all that.

I'm not telling you how to mod your car, you're free to do as you wish, just from experience, do it right, do it once, and theres no better tool than knowledge. GL, keep us posted

Do the engine rebuild yourself and save a lot of cash and learn something cool!

^^^^^ There are very few folks who are capable of rebuilding an engine - very very few. Pay to have it done right.

I hope you're planning on keeping the car for a while... looks like a decent list. Just remember, it's your car and you gotta live with it. You sound like you're looking for everyone's approval on your list...

I would upload the pictures as requested...but it keeps giving me an error. This is the link to the pictures of my car. I want to reiterate that the Carbon Fiber hood..HAS BEEN taken off. lol. Stock hood was put back on.

If I'm not mistaken, they have to pull the engine and raise it to remove the headers correct? I'm ordering stiffer engine and trans mounts today and will begin with the exhaust package purchases come next payday.

Do not do, headers, engine mounts, clutch, and tune. do them in conjunction with the FI upgrade. Save yourself a ton of money.

You shouldn't need a STG 2 GTM kit to make the numbers you're looking for, STG 1 turbos or supercharger should be plenty fine to get 450 whp. Also, I agree with losing the underglow as well as getting other wheels. The rest of the mods, I'm not against. I do like the quaife diff (which another member suggested), it's been good to me in my car.
