Because in under 3k miles my oil was completely gone. I do monitor in between changes but its gotten worse. I'm just going to get an STI.

I have an 05 anniversary and it drinks about 2 qts between oil changes. I don't have the funds to build the motor so I just keep an eye on the oil level and the oil pressure gauge. It sucks but it does work.

Pick up an ARC oil pan... it allows you to run an extra litre of oil.

Sucks to hear that. Why dump all that money for a built motor +boost. Trade the bish in for an HR or an Evo...

Should I be worried that my '06 6mt doesn't burn oil like this? Running Amsoil full synth changing it every 3000-3250 miles. Yet every time some one mentions a '06 its like the worst thing ever.

You might have more problems going on with your motor than just burning oil. The funny thing is I had an 04 that burned oil like mad but my 06 is going strong at 75k.

Same with me. I have a 06 AT . No oil consumption like your having. Change my oil every 3k-3.5k with Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil with out adding a drop in between.
