Winter Storage Agony
All my brothas from the north, how do you deal with not being able to drive the Z? I parked it last week, but it has been raining non stop, so I didn't really think much of it. BUT today is a nice day, and I miss not being able to drive her I think I am going to order some goodies every once in awhile just so it gives me something to do, kinda like little projects.

I put a car cover on mine Nov 1st and think of how little salt will accumulate on the underside and wait for spring, then it's like having a new car all over again!

I just put my three away for the winter. I don't enjoy doing it but I'm used to it from over the years. Just have something fun to drive year round then you don't miss the Z!

Do you guys plan to drive it at all....for sake of fluids/tires not having issues? I dont really want to, whole point is to keep my car away from the shitty road conditions etc....but a buddy of mine was saying he takes his non-op evo out once a week just to keep fluids from hardening up and tires from having flat spots...

Also, tonight I am ordering a new shift **** and shift boot. Possibly some cf vinyl for the interior as well. This should keep me good for the next while

I'm not turning it on until Spring, just like this past April. It keeps any unwanted moisture out of the system. Just let it sit and you'll be good.

The temperature doesn't stop me from driving mine. If there is no salt on the road, and no snow or rain coming down, I drive it. Come Thanksgiving I throw some blizzaks on it, just in case. But life is too short to worry about it. It's not a Veyron...

I just can't do it, I just can't do it. I have my daily driver sitting out in the weather, and the ZR in the garage even thought I have a car cover and it ready to be put outside. I keep finding little things I want to take care of, or some such excuse. Oh well, I know when I hear snow is on it's way the ZR will be parked and covered till spring.
