what if the cop is using a radar gun? You still get clocked. Or is a radar gun the same as a laser gun?

 

If the officer is using radar I'm screwed for the time being but I'm getting the V1 soon enough and then I shall be protected all the way around. Maybe the next thing should be a brake kit so I can slow down faster. The way I see it, theres not much point in going faster if you cant get away with it. (or at least have a better chance) After this stuff, then I will look into the real fun stuff, but until then I'm just going to have to live with driving fast & reckless while being stock ..... J/K

 

They'll find another way to screw us all sooner or later. I live in VA so all radar detectors are illegal. I'm not sure what would happen if I got pulled over with one though. Anybody have any ideas?

 

They confiscate it and give you a ticket.

 

I was with a friend and a trooper got on 66 next to us looked over and saw it on the dash DUH!!! He quickly pulled us over and advised us of our 2 options:
1) give it to him to place under the tire and us run over it a few times....
2) big fat ticket (he was saying $500 plus)
Well, it took 3 times running it over before he was happy and then he made us clean it up. No ticket though. Lesson learned, from now on do a stealth install and get VG2.
