you should have gotten a sentra...

hopefully having your license suspended has taught you a lesson, like not being stupid while driving. At the rate you are driving you are not going to make it to 21.

i had two at your age, stupid tickets as well.

My 1st question: Do you pay for your insurance on your Z and do you pay the payments on your Z?

My 2nd ?: If you don't, what do your parents think of your reckless driving? If you were my son, you would have lost your driving privileges the first ticket you received.

And Last: $398, is that a month, sounds about right for your situation. I don't feel sorry, just glad I don't pay those premiums.

To answer your 1st, I haven't had a ticket in 9 years.

I think you should rethink owning a fast car such as the Z, and get into a Sentra or a Focus.

0 speeding tickets! (knock on wood). But I have a few friends that had numerous speeding tickets and suspended license. When you get your license back, just be more aware of your speed.

Who's gonna be driving your Z?

This is not funny. You might kill somebody. We should always remember 1) Most of us are not trained professional drivers and we do not have the capacity to drive at extreme high speed, 2) The real world is filled with unexpected hazards. I for one do not want to be killed by another person driving recklessly.

People always claim to be good drivers until they kill somebody. This is absolutely seriously and dangerous.

Please be responsible to other road users.

0 tickets, but that's with only 3 years under my belt. I don't speed very much anyway, too fearful of police officers

First of all: I can't believe you managed to say all that in ONE SENTENCE. If you drive the way you formulate sentences, you must be one hell of a speeder.

Second: I have no tickets on my record. If you want to commiserate with speeders, I suggest you look for this idiot by the name of OKINAWAN MAJIK on some of the other Z boards. He likes bragging that he has 52+ speeding tickets under his belt.

Third: See number one above. Reading your post made me think you were breathless after typing all that. It's called punctuation - look into it.

19yrs old. 2 tickets, 1 the cop was nice and gave me 76 in a 45 when he clocked me doing 96, the other was BS by the cop driving towards me in heavy traffic, while i was approaching stop light and said i was doing 60 in a 35 i think. Some how, i was on probation and i got probation when i got the ticket. Double probation, but now im a little older and alittle wiser. None since i have had the Z, knock on wood.

I agree with some posts. This is not funny or "cool".
One, what if you were to kill or injure someone who was driving along minding there own business?
Two, it is drivers and driving like this is why the image that a lot of people have of people that drive performance cars are that they are arroagant, inconsiderate and care about nothing but there own interests.
This guy is simply perpetuating the sterotype.

Grow up.

18yrs old. 1 ticket in the Z, two weeks after i had it (a little less than a year ago) 91 in a 55. my dad took the car away for a month and i learned my lesson. i haven't been pulled over since.
on a side note i was pulled over by Bond, James Bond.
I was also once pulled over once before in my moms BMW 3 series for having the music too loud. At the time i had 2 12 inch subs in the trunk, which really weren't that loud. The cop just felt like pulling over a 16 year old driving with loud music in a bimmer over i guess. thankfully i got out of the ticket because as the officer was talking to me another car went skidding around a corner through a residential neighborhood.

"To answer your 1st, I haven't had a ticket in 9 years"

Yes but you are an officer fo the law Just playin with ya.

I am 19, and have had three tickets. However only one will go onto my record in which I do not deserve it.

First one, rolling a stop sign, whoopie.

Second one, this is the big one and the compleatly stupid one. It was 68 in a 35. This was before I got my Z and it was in my beater Accord. I knew what I had done was idiotic and I was greatful that the judge allowed me to attend level 2 traffic school.

The third one, in the Z. Heres how it goes. I had just broken it in, and was stoped at a redlight on Saratoga Ave. Lateat night, nearly no other cars on the road. Light turned green and I rolled away nice and normal. I then proceeded to go WOT ONLY in first gear and a nice slow shift to second. I then acceled to about 43 mph which is where I was cruising. ( speed limit is 40 ) After all of that, I look in my rear view and see a car coming up fast, a cop car.. He gets behind me and pulls me over. He said that he pased me doing 55 in a 40. BS! But yeah, thats the third one, 55 in a 40.

People, lets not forget people of older age seem to do this as well. Yes I know younger people do, do these stupid acts more often, and he will grow out of it. I myself have been challenged my many older men, and when I do not accept their challenge they just took off, probably doubling the speed or close to it.

Anyways, no need to downgrade your car, just decrease your speed, seriously...

0 tickets for me (knock on wood). I've had my license since 91. Valentine One, not driving too fast, and trying hard to not stand out helps. Two close calls: been pulled over twice, once in my old car, a 91 Camry and another time in a 93 Dodge Caravan, but they let me off both times.

Not standing out is kinda hard to do in a DB 350.

Kind of brings two old proverbs to mind;
"With power comes responsibility"
"Part of having power is knowing when not to use it."
Sorry if I sound like Yoda :-)

23 here...I've been ticket-less since I started driving. 7 years and a clean record *knock on wood*. I'm not a totally careful driver, I just do alot of scanning on my rearview mirror and have a feeling a gut feeling when I know an area is swarmed by cops.

Just tonight I was coming home, stopped at a stop sign and saw headlights from two to three blocks down. I could have made a turn but subconciously decided to wait the extra 15-25 seconds for the car to pass. Sure enough it was a cop that blew right by me. Normally I would have chirped and made the turn before the car was within distance.

Hopefully my spider senses will never go away!

one more thing...

I know eventually I'll get my first ticket because it's inevitable.
Hopefully it'll be in my Z. I want to frame that and post it up with all my other 350z goodies.
