Driving 9 years. 1 ticket (defensive driving took care of that), so now I'm clean. Stopped by cops two times in 9 years. First time I ended up on the other side of the road by accident cause this small road didn't have street lights on going through a corporate area. Second time, no front plate...that was Dec 5th of last year and I still haven't put it on cause I don't know where it is!

As for jake350z, I hope when you are able to drive again that you rear end someone and lose both legs so you get to live with your own fault for the rest of your life. Have a nice day.

 

No tickets in my Z. No red lights run. Lots of yellows though.

Jake....you're an a$$. Plain and simple. Next RED light you run when you happen to T-bone someone, I hope it's you that is injured and not that (god forbid) simpleton who thought it was safe to go since he/she had the green light. What a concept...safe when green. Who'd a thunk that?

Hope they raise your insurance rate to $2000 a month.

 

First ticket I got was in town with mini-vans passing me. Cop pulled me over and said I was doing 50 in a 35, but he wanted to be nice and make it only 40, which is what I was really doing. Second ticket was 2 yrs ago in my Eclipse following my friend to a car show cause I didn't know the way there. He was doing 80 and I had to go 70 just to keep up. Cop pulled us both over and the ticket was only $70.

 

1st ticket- Incomplete stop in my 1990 300zx.

2nd ticket- 127mph in a 65mph. Toyota Supra TT, Sunday morning, open highway, no traffic, so I went for it. Got caught by aircraft, didn't get pulled over for 15 minutes. Lost my license for three months, 12 hours of agressive driving, and had to sell the car- ouch!

3rd ticket- Paced at 95 in a 75 in the 350z, complete B.S. Took it to court and had it reduced to a 2 point non-moving violation.

That is my experience witih the long arm of the law.
