All this talk about plasti dipping is making me want to plastidip my beater car since it has crappy paint and its stripping. Cheaper than painting the thing.

serious question, if "plasti dipping" is frowned upon what is the best way to get your emblem and handles black?? I have a red Z and i want to get the emblems and handles blacked out...or is that process in general frowned upon here lol

Plasti dip is just given a bad name with ricers, but assuming anyone that uses it is a ricer is just illogical. Very poor deductive reasoning, ASSUMING they are wrong. Like a lambo with plasti dip isn't rice, obviously the person with lambo can afford to wrap the damn thing, but maybe he likes to change it up often and wants to save money, or maybe even test out the dip just to see what it'd look like.
I'll agree that most people who use plasti dip are ricers, because most people can get their hands on it, but if you have a tasteful car, tasteful mods, and don't act like the plasti dip is as respectable as wrap you'll be good.
Sorry for the long winded response to such a simple question.. I have essays and exams to study for and procrastination is getting to me.

You can always spend a lot more money to have it actually painted.. But unless I was paying for the whole car to be repainted, and told them to also paint the emblems/handles a different color, I'd just plasti dip..

Not sure how to take what you said, because overtone is really hard to determine through text. I just want to make it clear that it's my opinion on other cars, but I don't plasti dip.

plastidip that sheeat and dont listen to anyone here, this forum is full of jerks. If you dont like it remember that it comes right off. Ive had my emblems dipped for months now and still looks good as new. Call me what you want but i think it look awesome and so does everyone else that sees the car in person.Check out my album for pics. Ive learned my lesson in asking anything on these forums as they will quickly ridicule you for no reason.

OP. You must learn that going cheap is not the way to go. Just save and buy quality. Spend cheap and you will get cheap. Z's look better bone stock than one that has a million cheap mods.
