If I had to wait for non-snow weather here, I'd never get to drive mine.

They don't salt the roads, so my Z gets to play in the snow and make snow angels. It's a poor man's drifting paradise!

Snow here but I drive anyways as long as its not salty. Plus 1 for being able to put the top down in a few months though!

No snow in over 30-40 years where I'm from , and yes it's a cool story.

No idea why everyone is missing their cars because of snow...

Under 1ft of snow and this thing is better than my Jeep Wrangler was.

Mine has been in the garage since the beginning of January . I can't wait to get it out again. I don't care so much about the snow, its all the gravel and salt they dump on the roads that I have a problem with. It'll be at least a few more weeks (depending on when & if we get more snow) until my car sees the road again. But what part of WI are you from?

Dead center - Stevens Point. I stopped caring about the salt, hopefully in a few years I can move somewhere where salt isn't an issue (or at least not half of year lol)

Oh ok, I'm familiar with that area. I live by Platteville (southwest corner) but I have family that lives over by Marshfield. WI winter is bittersweet for me..I get to bring the snowmobile out but the car sits in the garage haha.

Default The "POS" has become my winter car

My Impreza may have 180K on it, but has never failed me since I bought it new sixteen years ago. Not my definition of a POS.

And, I prefer not scraping windows. The car port doesn't always prevent window frost and snow drifts, and the garage is quite a bit warmer.

Glad to see a few more people from Idaho - not many Z enthusiasts around here...

Anyway, I have to admit that mine stays tucked away in the garage all winter. It's a weekend cruiser anyway, so I don't like to take it out and get it all covered in gravel and deicer during the winter. Plus, come spring time it's like getting a new car!
