Thanks again for the replies. I'm going to try to get one with 80k or under but I still feel safe getting one with 100k because of the response I've gotten for you guys. Any tips n inspecting a Z? I heard the Z's door panels scratch easily. Is there any way to fix or prevent this? Also, I was reading that rock chips are easy to get. Any way to prevent this besides putting on a black bra? If I got a Z with around 90k, what maintenance work should I get done to it?
Don't scratch at the panel and it won't scratch.
Rock chips are easy to get on most new vehicles. You can use 3M instead of a black bra.
Any car with 90K would need the same maintenance. Treat it like you would any other car.

350Z tech .com has a lot more useful information than this forum. They have wiki pages that answer almost all your questions and have tons of info.

You want to go with a 2006, the Autos do not have the Rev-Up thus they don't have the oil consumption issues. The 2006's do however have better HID headlights and LED taillights as well as a better interior than the 03-05
There are no significant issues that plague the Auto's vs the MT's
I would try to find a 2006 Grand Touring so that you can have the power & heated leather seats as well as the Bose audio, Brembo brakes, and upgraded Rays wheels

the engine will easily last over 200k miles so there are no worries of getting one with 80k+ miles.

My 04 ZR 5AT has 76,000 so far with absolutely no issues at all. One of the guys in my club has an 05 5AT with over 300,000 miles on it (it's his daily driver) and he has done nothing but expected routine maintenance. As long as you change the oil on schedule and you use good oil, a Z is just as reliable as any other Nissan/Toyota/Honda product. That's one of the great appeals of a Z --- great sportscar performance with the reliability of a corolla/civic/Altima!!!!
