I already searched but couldnt find anything decent. If there is then lock this up.


Ive been using this formula for years and it works great.

1. Fill up till it clicks ONCE.
2. Reset trip meter
3. Drive around (it doesnt really matter how far, but over 100 miles would be great).
4. Fill up till it clicks ONCE.

Divide miles driven by how many gallons you pumped. So lets say you drove 320 miles and you pumped 14 gallons, 320/14= 22.85 MPG

I have an 03 6 M/T stock besides a K&N air filter.

My commute is 55 miles round trip and its 85% highway and any city driving I do is usually ~3 miles from home. I average 23-24 MPG on fill ups. My last fill up got me 22.52 but I sat through a nasty traffic jam. 268 mi / 11.9 gallons.


Any tips on getting more MPG would be great!

I have an 05, instead of all that you can just click through the displays and look at the MPG on....Highway I've gotten up to 27mpg, but usually avg around 20-22 since I do more city driving where I live now.
