Default Quick Question

Okay, so a friend finally convinced me to let him drive the Z. I finally agreed and the first thing he does was stall the leaving crap out of it. The car was in first gear with E-Brake up (I have a tendency of doing that since I park on an incline at home) the car leaped front like a good foot.

I turned it on immediately, and it was idling weird as hell and was revving up slow but after like a couple minutes it was fine.

Checked for leaks, random noises and all seemed good. Went for a nice drive on the freeway ripping through all the gear and it seemed fine.

I'm just worried that something got messed up, I mean there has to be a reason why it was idling weird and revving up slow right after.

If it's the wrong section please move. Thanks for the help!

I would guess that its ok. Probably just gave the car a bit of a hiccup but if it continues to run correctly and you dont get any CEL's or anything why stress over it.

My dad did this as well. Although I had no issues or anything different after it stalled. I would check to see if there are any pending codes in the ecu

Same situation, same outcome...with the addition of a crying gf because she thought she had broken my car.

You probably have oil consumption now, better start the partout process before it's too late.
