HOW ARE YOU GUYS GETTING 30MPG? My '97 Accord barely pushed 28 MPG and my commute is 60 miles round trip with 85% highway.
My Z is getting 24 MPG MAX and thats with me trying. As for commuting, I would trust this car on a very hard commute.

OP the Z is a very reliable car. If youre on a budget get an 03-05, skip the '06. If you have a higher budget then get anything 07+.

I commute 100 miles a day,I have put 76K on my Z in the last 2+ years I have had her.Bought her at 24K,now at 101K,Mobil1 @ 5K,fluid changes, and premium fuel.I do about 90% highway on that commute, five days a week. You will need to find one at low mileage, shoot for the HR.

90 miles commute per day, I can't believe nobody mention to move closer to the work lol.

I'd move closer to work and buy the Z. It's fantastic car to DD. I drive 25 miles each way to my work and it's a bit excessive. I don't really like the idea of putting so many miles on my car, but damn.... you driving almost 2x what I do!

Oh for the Z get an 07+. Don't settle for anything below. Plus you stated you landed an amazing job, so I'm guessing $ ain't an issue as well as you not having any student loans. Go get yourself a NISMO.

My 2003 Z is a manual transmission, but I have driven the auto version and am very impressed with the Z’s automatic transmission.

You see a lot of automatic transmissions because the Nissan model is so good. --Spike

Thanks in advance for any replies.
