Did you pay the thousand bucks? How many miles on the odo when you got it? Without doing and extensive search the guy did tell me that he just checked online while we were speaking (something I'd done myself) and according to my specifications he couldn't find the car I wanted anywhere near me...could have been a lie. So he immediately suggested ordering one. Another dealership offered to use their own store network and was very confident they could obtain one. I told them I'd be buying in a month and they said to call back around then. This crap ain't easy.

 

No, didn't pay the thousand. I let them order one for me.

The last thing most dealers want to do is order one. They want to sell you one NOW, not in three months. That's why they go thru the trouble of searching all over for a car.
