Well this is unfortunate... (Vandalism sucks)
damn man that sucks i would have been pissed. But good to hear your getting a fresh paint job. Sadly enough its better off that you didn't catch who did it because beating the **** out of them would have prob made it worse for you in the long run.
Your Z looks sick. I was thinking of doing the roof on mine with something that looks carbon fiber like my M3. Did you paint it or wrap it? (Sorry to go off topic lol)
lol Thanks I had it wrapped in gloss black. If you go with carbon fiber wrap it works good. If you decide to go with gloss black I would just have it painted unless you really want to be able to go back to stock because with the gloss every little imperfection will show.
I don't get what would cause someone just to do that. I would literally have to HATE someone to do that and even then I'm not sure. It's so messed up. And in this case it's not even just like the hood......Karma is a *****.
The vandal would be horrified of the penalty in Singapore.
I’m not sure the members here remember Michael Fay. He received international attention in 1994 when convicted of vandalizing cars (he was spray painting vehicles) in Singapore. He was an 18-year-old student attending international school when he was convicted and fined $2K and sentenced to four months in jail and caning. Caning is a brutal punishment that is very painful and leaves permanent scarring. --Spike

punishment to deter teenager like Michael Fay from doing it again?
I believe it is, vandalism is rampant in North America, why would anyone do it? just for the fun of it !!!! and that's what it is... teenagers on a hot summer night, after a few drinks, they walked the neighbourhood and start spray painting cars or slashed the tires..... and it is still going on......
Apparently it is very rare for anyone in Singapore to endure caning more than one time; that means this punishment is an effective deterrent. Fay left Singapore immediately upon his release. He only received 6 lashes.
However, modern (at least modern western) civilization forbids corporal punishment. There are good reasons for this. What is difficult to explain is a society that forbids corporal punishment but accepts the death penalty.
With this said, I have no problem with a caning for the vandal damaging imcesar’s car.

I suppose amputating the index finger and thumb would make it very difficult for the person to operate a paint spray can.
Gosh… that sounds horrible, and makes caning appear much more humane.

Kids these days are like feral animals. I avoid any places where there are kids around. I was waiting to turn out of my bank's parking lot one day and a couple of little ********s on BMX bikes rode past me and yelled Nissan sucks, your car is a piece of ****! I thought, you are a genius, I better go sell this thing pronto!
