On some cars when you open the door, you get the frame at the top of the car with it, like part of the hood.. In my celica, when you put the windows down and open the door, there is no frame at the top, only the door and window..

On the Z when you open the door, is there the frame on the top, or is it just the window?

Well without the frame you risk breaking the glass easier.
