I ordered my Z a month ago...suppose to arrive in January. Is it possible for me to change it? I ordered a Performance and was looking into upgrading to Track (got a nice promotion this week so I will have more than I had anticipated to spend on the car!). If so what steps do you recommend? Try to go through Nissan directly or my dealer? Thanks.

 

Since you just ordered last month I'll assume you're not on the pre-order list. So in that case, I would say yes, just og to your dealer and change your order. If you would have pre-ordered you definately wouldnt be able to change it w/o huge time delays.

 

Are dealers still telling people they can pre-order the car?? Nice way to take someone out of the market for a few months while you look around for the car.

 

You should be able to do this still. This has happened already once at the dealer that I'm dealing with for mine and someone else in Canada I believe. Not sure the outcome of them, you might have to go past the dealer and talk to NNA or someone if the dealer's already submitted the order.
