After nine whole months my Super Black Touring 6MT with all but the Navi baby is scheduled for delivery today at 2PM! Ordered 1/15/02 and finally only a few more sleepless hours worth of waiting! With all of the delays in this area because of the Newport News port problems, I want to thank you all out there for making the wait more bearable (and unbearable ) with all of your support and reviews! More from me once I oficially join the list of those that have been delivered from these years of purgatory !

 

I picked up my Brickyard on Thursday (9/12) in Pittsburgh. Hope to see you around town.

 

Thanks for all the well wishes! Sorry I've been AWOL, but as those of you that have taken delivery know, priorities tend to change a bit! I've definitely noticed the looks from both "civilians" and from the police, but luckily have not had any run ins with "the law", though I must admit I have been in violation of a few posted speed limits!

The Z is beyond my dreams. I find myself wandering out just to take it in many times a day . . . . I'll post more including a few pics soon.

Congrats to you too Mbeguy and ICB on the delivery of your babies. I do hope to see you around the area ICB, and hopefully you too very soon Dr. Bonz! I ordered from John Sisson Nissan down here in Washington and there service has been top notch. Even gave me a cake to go with the Sessions book about the remaking of the Z.

In reference to the baby remarks above, my wife and I found it very ironic that "delivery" for us was one day shy of nine months from ordering on Jan 15. Well worth the wait I must say. Well, back to work. More later and hang in there to all of you still waiting. It's just an awesome experience all around.
