Default Not even a month and already an accident

Hello guys some dumbass decided to distegard the red light and hit me right in the rear wheel . I am not sure if it is the wheel that is bent or if it is the axle . What do you think ? I think the wheel is damaged beyond repair

As a minimum:
Have the wheel and tire replaced.
Have the undercarriage (especially the welded aluminum structure that supports the rear suspension) inspected.
Have an alignment done.

Have your insurance company call his, they'll have you go get an estimate then fix from there.

Its like my parents told me when I got ny license, not only do you have to drive for yourself, you have to drive for others. Always try to anticipate another drivers next move. Damaged cars ftl

I agree totally with Winchman and get a brand new wheel and tyre and get all of the suspension arms checked out for bends or cracks in any welds etc. I'd then make a point of getting all four wheels aligned. I'd also be inclined to get this done through insurance after all he's liable as he hit your rear, so i'd be getting everything checked out. Are you fairly close to anyone who is regularly mentioned on this site as doing a really good job or ask for recommendations from members close to you. I hope all works out for you and you're up and running soon.

^^ ALL OF THIS!

Hits on wheels can be very damaging. I bet you there is at least 1 arm that is bent or 1 joint that is damaged. Personally I would push to have the parts exchanged for new ones even if its "minor" damage. Since any bends or issues can become more severe months after the accident. GL

Couldn't have said it any better. Always have an out and stay away from everyone on the road as much as possible. Think like a motorcycle rider thinks when you drive your car. Don't ride in middle lane.

What he said.

What you cannot see is problematic. Wheel bearings. Brakes. Alignment.
