? 2nd Paragraph : As for you car options, I own a 08 G8 GT & love the thing.

Though If I was looking to by me another ride I would probably try and find me a 98-00 Frontier. I had an Ext cab V6 4x4 and loved that thing or might would look for a Xterra but my mom & sister both have Xterras so I would probably stick with the truck.

Zmandriving: I also have 1985 Nissan 720 AWD, 08 Nissan rouge and of course my company working truck. by they way I have also been doing some research on a swap for the 720 maybe it's going to have an sr20 sometime next year.

This is so true! Those straight 6 engines are some of the most bullet proof engines you will ever buy stock. The n54 compression ratio is 10.3:1, so with the stock small turbos it has the torque curve of a large displacement V8.

With a "relatively" inexpensive turbo upgrade:

Here's the build thread for this dyno chart.

How well did the Frontier do off road? I don't want a rock crawler but want something that will be good on trails for hunting and fishing.

bro grab the 335i, comfort and power, not a lot of cars on the road that would be able to hang with you and the n54 engine is solid like every one else is saying

Sorry to hear about your car.

Out of the 3 cars you listed as replacement, the 335i is going to be your best for power potential on stock engine. My friend just bought a 335is, $700 later with a downpipe and tune, he should be in the 400whp area on pump gas. Having said that, the car is fast but it is BORING. BMW has the quality, ride comfort, noise dampening and speed but I would not recommend it if you want a sports car. The way I see that car is that is it is a luxury car that goes fast. Period.

thanks, yeah I know BMW wouldn't be a good option for a sport car but def I can see it as my DD. talked to the insurance today they still don't know I guess the shop called them and told them the ecu was fried and I have my Osiris license in it, gonna have to so some research see if I can still save the Osiris.

I agree. And it really comes down to what they will sell it back for. From the looks of it you love the z and it could be fixed.

In the meantime I would simply test drive different cars. See how you like the g37 and some other competitors.

dont even waste the money buying it back. you'll spend more than that trying to get it running and then never be able to sell because you can get low mileage non-salvage Z's for 6-7000$

well since the car is totalled make a good choice and go 335i my friend has a cammed and modded g8 and my other buddy has a 335i with jb4 an intercooler downpipes and other small mods and its just a better car i think than the g8. the g8 is no slouch though it put down 418whp on the local dyno
