I test drove a Track 350Z (2003) at the weekend to decide whether to buy. When I switched on the air conditioning I heard a noise from the engine bay. It was a constant sound like bad bearings in the compressor pump or just a cheaply made air con system! It was disappointing for a car so new. Is this a fault or do all 350Z's have noisy air con. The sales guy didn't say anything even though I found a TSB (http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/nissa...1.asp?mscssid=), this makes me even more worried (the sales guy not saying anything).

Nope there is a TSB out for this issue. Its a free fix at the dealer.
