where can i buy 07-08 hood in fiberglass?
Ive been searching online for hours and am having no luck finding an 07-08 350z hood in fiberglass. All the ones im finding are in carbon fiber and thats not what im wanting. My car is Silverstone so Im not a fan of the dark hood with a light colored car.

seriously...get the carbon fiber hood painted. What you are searching for doesn't exist. To be even more technical those carbon fiber hood are just overlayed with carbon fiber, and backed by fiberglass.
Are you looking for lightness or style? I suspect the aluminum hood now on your car is lighter than either fiberglass or carbon fiber. If you are looking for style, then as stated above, get the carbon fiber and paint it.
Well I dont get how it wouldnt exist. What do people who want to buy the OEM 07 hood do? Only issue with buying it in carbon fiber is they are usually a lot more expensive since they are finished that way.

You probably can't find a fibreglass hood because the heat from the engine would cause it to sag more than fibreglass does anyway and you'd end up with a hood that fits really badly to the detriment of your z. As far as I know all Z hoods are made from Aluminum, none were made from steel.

Unless you're spending top-end Ferrari money, the only carbon fiber you will get is either a single aesthetic layer (Stupid) or an adhesive plastic film with a "carbon fiber" look (Stupider).
I've used carbon fiber in the past for a design/build/race project. It can be handled essentially as fiber glass except at least 10X the cost depending on twill type. When designing a hood you would use multiple layers patterned for structural rigidity and could easily end up with a hood costing about the same price as the rest of your vehicle..... sorry rambled a bit here...
Anyhow, OP just get the OEM aluminum hood as others have mentioned. It is the best compromise in terms of weight/cost/strength. This is why Nissan went with this selection in the first place.
