I like the wheels, 010 and 050 in particular. And, I'm interested to see/hear more about the active suspension.

Supercharger and wheels. Im looking for a power gain of 350-380.

If you need a nice show car to expose or need a test car for the the supercharger kit Im your man.

The 350Z community is hungry for a variety of aftermarket products. Among the list of items highly sought after include intakes, exhausts, coil over suspensions, re-flashed ECU's, cams, intake plenums, headers, high flow cats, and larger throttle bodies, forced induction, body kits and wheels to name a few.

With regard to your specific questions:

1. Suspension - an active or semi-active suspension sounds great, but in reality, few owners would be willing to spend $3000. $1200-$1800 is what most current (though non-active) coil over suspension systems cost, and even that is a little pricey. Our cars are a little on the slow side and we need to spend most of our money on increasing horsepower, which is much more deficient on the 350Z than its handling.

2. Body kit - There are a plethora of body kits out there, one for every individuals taste. There is definitely an abundance of outlandish body kits out so if Prodrive does make one, keeping it a little on the conservative side would be nice.

3. Wheels - The GC-010E and GC-06D are nice wheels. However, if you look at our picture galleries, you'll see that 350Z owners have an infatuation with large lip wheels. They look fantastic on the Z. The Volk GT-C, GT-7, SF Challenge, SF Winnings, SSR GT-3, I-forged wheels, HRE wheels, all have one thing in common, FAT LIPS. Okay, the TE-37's don't but that's probably the one exception. I think you should at least include one model in your wheel line up that carries this aesthetic feature.

4. Supercharger - Yes, of course! We are hungry for horsepower. However, look at the one major complaint of the Stillen supercharger, it requires a new hood (or a cutout), which to many of us is unacceptable. The Vortech and Procharger blowers do not require this which therefore makes them preferable. In addition, the Stillen blower does not make enough power. In the recent car magazine comparison of various aftermarket tuner 350Z's, the normally aspirated Motorex 350Z was just as quick as the Stillen 350Z with supercharger. We would expect at least 350hp at the wheels for it to be worthwhile to spend the $4,000 cost of this unit. I know, I'm spoiled, but I dynoed this much with my last 300ZX Twin Turbo with a few minor bolt ons.

5. What else - I know Prodrive has an ECU reflash for the WRX, and Prodrive definitely has the resources to produce one for the 350Z. A larger throttle body would be nice. In fact, Prodrive should just make a Performance Pack available for the 350Z as they do for the WRX. I wouldn't bother making an exhaust system for the 350Z as there are all ready too many on the market.

A well-sorted supercharger kit for a good price would be very welcomed.

All the other products are also of interest to this community.

I have always liked prodrive wheels.

I would be very intrested in them IF, and that is a big IF they were light enough in 19 inch form. I know the GC-010's are heavy as I looked into them for the WRX. But they look damn nice...

But yeah if they were released soon enough I'd consider the GC-010 and the GC-07 for sure, top of the list.

 

Quick question on the active suspension.

From reading the tech sheet pdf, it mentions that the suspension characteristics can be changed at a rate of 1000 times per second. It also states that the system uses traditional oil. I am therefore guessing that you have some sort of mechanical valving to adjust the system (this assumption is the basis of my question). So, my question is this:
How much of the adjustment range is available in 1/1000 of a second? In other words, if you were at the full soft setting, is it possible to go to full stiff in 1/1000 of a second, or would it take a longer amount of time to make the suspension change that much.

the more options we have, the better.

I say go for all of them, rims, suspension, superchargers, heck, if you can develop turbochargers do that as well. It will make you a well-rounded company. Offer it at a competitive price + quality product and you can't go wrong.

I would say if you aim for 350-380WHP then you should be ok (and safe).

 

Nice products! I am definitely interested in all of them. Would you happen to have pics of your British Gold wheels on a Z? Also, where in Irvine are you located? Just curious since I work in Irvine too.
