Default My 08 Z and its progression in life

picked up my Z back in 2011. got her about 99% stock. she had some hideous wheels but was stock.

then picked up a set of tein coilovers, adjustable suspension arms, oem rear spoiler, stillen headers, aam test pipes, brembo break kit and slammed her. that lasted about another 6 months and decided it was time for a change....

sold the ti-c, sold the g games. picked up a set of CE28's a tomei y pipe and cat back. seibon cf hood. and that lasted me 6 months and decided to make some big exterior changes, some sound system changes, and some changes under the hood...

Thank God the original owner didn't do more than those wheels, I could see that bad taste going a long way.

Solid progression though OP , looks like there's plenty more to go but it looks great

looks quite nice with your upgrades.

The previous wheels remind me of the wheels that are on my car currently which came with the used deal... they aren't great, but I don't see why everyone rips on them so much .
Just looks over the top and kinda bling bling shiny .

If those are real Enkei V1's... they're worth more than any of the garbage kits you sell.

**Edit** they're not V1's.

Can't imagine the kind of money you have put into this thing. That body kit alone must have been a ton of money. It looks good. You can hardly tell the front bumper isn't an exact match. I'm surprised you went with looks over power considering the car is already pretty sexy looking.

Did you actually read the list of engine upgrades he has done??? I'll agree that considerable amount of money has been put into this build, but I think it is a fair balance between performance and appearance. Maybe a bit more on the appearance side, but it could certainly win some Z car shows because of this. Maybe he just want's a sexy looking quick street car to show-off. More power to you OP!!!!

I originaly intended to buy a nismo, i have loved the look ever since they were released, but couldnt pass up the deal when this was traded in, got a hook up for paint work and got a deal on the parts from Nissan so decided to make it a clone. i'll do more go fast soon. and its funny that you bring up the color match, its only the front that isnt perfect, the rest of the kit is spot on...

With your cooling system upgrades I'm surprised FI kit isn't on your upcoming mods list

PPW is so hot. You've made some great progress! The CE28's will match the car much better than the 99B's did in my opinion.

You originally from the Boston area? I ask because I noticed the banner.
