350z vs super cars
So on our way home today we stopped off at the local Ferrari Lambo delership and it got me thinking although these machines are oretty much designed to be pure breed track machines. Do you think a tracked out lightened 350z could out perform one or many of these machines on a track. To give an example- set a faster lap time on the top gear track.
Im not reffering to a gt spec 350z
But a shop or home built tracked out, roll caged tt or sc
With full suspenion, brakes ect making roughly the equivalent in power.

take a look at some of those 92-95 civic hatchbacks home-built and blowing past different performance/sports cars.
it all depends on what you do with it (weight-power ratio).
you could shop/home-build any car to outperform some of the higher end cars, including ferrari's and lambo's.

Nobody wants a FWD econobox though (except to go to the store or don't care much about what they drive). It can have 80 million horsepower, it's still a FWD econobox that got popular after fast and furious 2001. I would take the Mazda Miata which is a true sports car over any lambo eating civic any day.
honestly, for me, i didnt buy my Z to have a pissing contest. if your car can beat mine, great. i bought my Z bc i love it and have respect for cars in general. look at some of those 240s....most of them, if not all, are ***-ugly, esp. with the front bumper missing/big intercooler setup, yet people don't dodge on them.
what's wrong with FWD? and btw, civic/crx hatchbacks became popular before fast and furious.
define "true sports car" and how a mazda miata would be considered one.
to each their own. call it an econobox. call it a piece of sh*t. but your "super car" just got taken by a 4-cyl econobox. i was just merely answering a question posted by the OP
