First off, I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong thread section.

Now, I have an 35HR and I'm uncertain if there's any difference between the 03-06 fuel systems and the 07-08 years Z. Reason I'm asking, I'm wanting to get a Cosworth fuel rail to support some ID 1000cc injectors, and I can't seem to find any rails year specific to the 07-08. Will the Cosworth, or previously 03-06 specific fuel rails, fit the HR? Or will there need to be some modification for it to work?

First question is, why would you need ID 1000cc injectors and aftermarket fuel rails? Going FI?

I'm only making sure because of all the noobs these days and their weird questions. lol

And if I remember correctly, its not the same. GTM makes nice HR fuel rail. But good lock getting them from them without weeks/months of delays.

 

Yeah at some point I'm going with a Stroker kit and either twin turbo or Vortech supercharger. But this is going to be a long term project. And I figure I can upgrade the fuel system before doing the rest. Better to have too much now, and tune it back, than not enough later.

 

Wait.. you want to drive around a stock VQ with 1000cc injectors for now?

Jesus! Hell no! That would be f*cking stupid! When I F.I. the car I'd be upgrading it. But when the money is available, no sense in not buying the parts.
