Default How about this interior?

I traded for this 06 350z about a month ago (this is my fifth Z i've personally owned) and I have yet to find another Z out there with this interior, even on google I can't find this combo. The guy I got it from said only 2500 were made and this was the "special edition'' interior? Red leather seats with the black dash, door panels, etc. Thoughts on this?

Based on the lack of heated seat controls, I'm guessing those are Katzkin leather covers and the seller's "special edition" story is a load of horsecrap. What's the trim level on the car? Enthusiast? Are there SRS markings on the outward-facing sides of the seats?

See this thread and then punch the seller in the face twice; once for each seat he lied about.

You were bamboozled. They are clearly covers, note the "bunchyness" on the side bolsters.

Look on ebay tons of aftermarket companies selling "covers," replacement skins, synthetic leathers.

Either way, I like them a lot. People keep trying to buy them from me and are offering a good bit of money. The look like a factory seat though. The way the seams are and everything looks factory. Must not be though.

Not so...There has never been any 350's with red seats.
"Special Edition",don't think so.
They don't look bad.I'd guess, they have been the car for quite a few years looking at the leather.
You like e'm thats all that counts.
I'm thinkin the car came with frost seats.Got dirty, replaced.

I've seen these seats in mn. I was at the mall of America two weeks ago and was surprised to see a z from Wisconsin driving in the snow. Anyways I went up and looked in it and it had these seats. They looked good but I wasn't aware of red seats in a z. They looked the same as my tan seats. Covers are easy to pick out even if they are nice ones.

As others have said it definitely is an aftermarket cover, it looks good though so just enjoy it

I think red leather was only introduced in the 370z anniversary edition, could be wrong though.

After market seats. End of story . Looks like a lot of wrinkles on them, not well done.

Car is sold now anyway lol focus is on finishing up my other Z now. Just thought I would share with everyone. It's amazing the prices people were offering me for them though. I know the 40th anniversary edition 370z was the only model that had red interior. I love it though.

Nissan didn't release any 350Z's with this seat color. If you look closely there are no vents in the leather as there are on the black/tan seats plus I've yet to see an 'original' seat have the leather stretch in the places these seats have i.e. two thirds of the way up the side bolster. OP you're full of chit, if you've owned as many Z's as you say you have then you'd know better.

Did you even read my post? Apparently not. I was ASKING if anyone has ever seen this combination before. I didn't say this was in fact a special edition. It was a simple question/opinion for others. What am I full of **** about? Don't come onto my thread acting all big and bad. Learn to read before making stupid comments. Also, go ahead and check out my build thread and tell me "I should know better".

You've owned 5 Z's. The guy you bought it off said '2500 were made as a special edition'. you didn't query it as you'd been checking, so you believed what he said. Therefore I summize that you don't know the model history. If you'd have written 'I know its not a standard seat cover and the closest I've seen are the Nismo black and red seats, then fair enough, but you didn't, you were trying to pass them of as 'special edition'. I can read, you obviously aren't very good at explaining yourself. I'm not acting big & bad, I'm stating MY opinion, grow some skin.

1.) Not bought, traded. (illiteracy must suck).
2.) I didn't believe him, hence I posted for people's "thoughts".
3.) I said the only model with red interior was the 370z 40th anniversary edition. I know my models just fine.
4.) I explained everything just fine, some people just can't read.

If you said you were a trader fair enough, you didn't. I've traded cars before as have many people, I'm not a trader.
You made no comment about disbelieving him.
Yet another addition.
Face it dude you put out a duff thread coz yoo kant explain yourself very well.
You've had to make additions to your original thread because you just don't know how to write a legible thread, all these afterthoughts of yours prove it. ( if I were illiterate I wouldn't be able to write, never mind read, you have a poor understanding of language).
