Default Wishing the Z was AWD....

As I'm driving my winter beater to work, I wish the z was all wheel drive..

Does anyone else wish it was?

AWD is booooooooooooooooooring.

I drove a modded STI. It was putting more power down than my Z and it wouldn't even drift.... I went around a corner I almost always slide around in the Z and almost put the STI into the ditch because it never broke loose. I hit the throttle and it just turned and went.

yeah pro drifters like us like to be sideways everyday on our way to work, to the grocery store, dentist, when visiting our family and every time in between.

just put some blizzaks on it and drive it! it doesn't take bravery it just takes the tiniest amount of driving skill. the z handles really well on ice and snow with the right tires. if you want all wheel drive get a g37x coupe.

If you were to use your time machine to go back to 2007 and finish before FunctionTUNED, that is.

EDIT: And JUN...

Been unsatisfied with the monster torque steer in your front wheel drive luxury car? Been annoyed by the rear end of your new high powered sports car sliding out in the rain and snow? Jealous of those folks with the big spoilers and pink performance parts? Let's face it: Only AWD cars have good handling. (Just ask anyone with an AWD performance vehicle.) To overcome the shortcomings of many otherwise nice vehicles, KaleCoAuto has developed this system! The lug-pulleys bolt directly to the wheel studs! If you can change a tire, you can install this kit. Please refrain from making left or right turns once this kit is installed. To enjoy the added handling benefits of AWD with this kit, is important that the steering wheel remains perfectly centered!

lol good stuff

I drive on snow with the same tires I run year round. I don't want tires laying around for 11 months to use them a couple days and take them back off.

My Jeep is 4WD, I mostly leave it in 2 because I like the feel of RWD.

Haha you guys are a blast. I only drove a suabru for a couple days but was not too impressed. Maybe the wrx is a blast lol.

I guess this while thread come to fruition because I tried to drive my z in snow, and failed. It hardly got out if my driveway. Mind you I have all seasons which could be why.

I know what you are saying, but no . Being RWD is most of the fun for the Z. If you want AWD get a G35 or G37.

If it was setup like that Tuned car where you can turn off the AWD and have it just be RWD, it would be pretty cool. Is there a production car on the market setup like that? All I've ever seen is FWD/AWD.

FJs are cool but not what I would call a car. I'm talking sports car/rally car/sport sedan. Pretty much all 4WD trucks are RWD in 2WD...
