Most of the threads I've seen, it's either been people screaming "SEARCH" or just not answering at all. People don't seem very eager to help anybody here.

"Everybody"? What are you basing this off of? You're post#3 of this thread.

I thought I was the only one that thought this i even told him to make sure he removes the spare tire, floor mats, trunk mats, since those also add too much weight.

Dude, do you not remember the very thread that YOU created and what YOU said? "The Z Seems To Hard To Improve On"? On the very first page, you stated:

Also as far as headers go, I'm guessing 2 things. 1 your car was an HR (which came with ideally sized tubular headers rather than the DE's POSs) and two headers on a DE really need a tune to capitalize on the gains. The other thing is I think headers will help with the sound of the car with an exhaust... I hate the Chewbacca moan and I think the DE headers are the cause.

O and the DAY I bought the car, the driver's side regulator went out lol. Sucked!!!"?
and throughout that entire thread, you kept bashing turbos whenever someone mentioned it, hence you're implying not to go FI bc it adds "extra weight". hey while you're trying to reduce weight on your car, make sure you keep your gas tank at almost empty, since gas adds weight too!

I'm as dumb as they come, but you take someone stating their personal preferences as "bashing" and telling other people what to do. Again, show me a post where I told somebody else not to go turbo, or a post where I said anything other than why I personally don't want to do it. Everyone was saying to go turbo, and I said why I, me, personally, nobody else, don't want to... if you are too stupid to see that, how is that my fault?

I find it odd that you let something as little as the comments from an online forum get to you. At the same time, don’t set yourself up to get called out. Comments, such as not worth going turbo because it “adds weight”, will bring unwanted attention, esp. on a forum relating to sports cars. The Z weighs over 3k lbs. Unless you’re into extreme tracking, a few lbs won’t make a difference, but if it will make you feel better, I suggested earlier that you take out the floor/trunk mats, spare tire, the passenger seat, and even keep the gas tank near empty.

Also, not everyone will agree or share the same views with you on everything. Your last thread, “The Z Seems Hard To Improve On”, you talk about your desire to produce max performance N/A, yet a daily driver. People did respond, though some responses weren’t what you wanted/expected to hear – too bad, deal with it, as people are entitled to their opinions.

Stop projecting. You are the one following me around to drag on a beef from an old thread. This doesn't get to me at all.

Where did I say going turbo was not worth it for anyone but myself?

I have had a few cars and they were not all Accords. 100lbs out of ~3300 definitely makes a difference. I can feel the difference between a full and empty tank of gas for example. So the idea that a 50-100lbs at the nose of the car wouldn't make a difference is wrong.

Yes. I made a thread about wanting to do N/A mods. You came in saying I should go turbo instead. When I said why I didn't want to, you got angry and have been holding a grudge ever since. And yet I am the one who has a problem with people not agreeing with my views lmao.

In for the show: Can 08andawesome and sportyaccordy survive their regrettable posts expressing blatant foolishness? As we go forward, how will history treat these unfortunate souls?

If the info here is so great... close the tech forums or forbid people from asking questions. Or if the info is so easy to find, when someone answers a question, mods should post a link to the answer and close the thread. Then it will easier to look for, instead of countless threads asking questions with no answers

The best way to use this forum is to never register here.... just search it through Google.... actually trying to interact with people here is no go, it's very cliquey, needlessly confrontational and hierarchical.

"Spoon feeding in the long run teaches us nothing but the shape of the spoon."

http://forum.thefreedictionary.com/p...he-spoon-.aspx

I have to say, in my many years here and many threads started here I dont believe i have even gotten the response like the one that twisted these noob's panties. Reason being is dont start a noob thread and you wont get the stupid replies. Your teacher and parents lied..there are such things as stupid questions.

Know why the search is a jumble? (you can still make it work with effort)
Because the same noobs that come in here complaining that they get harassed and hate the responses have flooded this forum with the same junk threads. Its a downward spiral that has been going on for years and left uncorrected. Each noob thinks he is a special and should be able to make his noob thread...thus we have 1000's of noob threads. We get tired of answering the same ole crap over and over and ask that you search and put forth some effort.

Even the mods let us rib for a while cause they know the situation. The mods/members have created some great stickies if the noobs would bother to read then we wouldnt be in this mess.

Dont come into the forum and litter it and then say its a mess. If every noob like you had searched this forum would be clean and full of good information and no junk threads.

Yes, this is a public forum and the intent is to gain knowledge but that doesnt mean you can just stomp in here and demand results, leave and never provide anything useful back.

However, I'm finally going to get my degree in about 1 year so I've been looking at buying a new toy. I first started looking at 370s and wow what a phenomenal car that is. I really cannot get over the rear end of it though. Something just doesn't flow quite right. Its a great looking car overall, but I always catch myself looking at Z33s with a big ol' smile on my face.

I'm hoping to pick up an HR Z33 to as a nice toy when I graduate. Currently I'm driving a '93 240sx convertible thats getting ready for boost in a few months. Anyway, just in here to learn about these awesome cars and look at your builds!
Yes the backside of the 350z is an issue, it looks weird from the side, get a body kit that should fix the problem. and even put a spoiler on the back. It will fix the rear end.

Also I would recommend, getting the 03, 04 350z's because they have the VQDE engines, which is slightly faster than the newer 05,06,07,08 350z's.

Personally for me I bought the 04 350z because out of all honesty it looks the same all the way up to 2008. (excluding the nismo,) I said to myself that if I bought the 2004 350z an average joe out on the street will not be able to tell the difference. So in essence people will assume its a newer model because of its uniqueness.

Also if you buy the older model 350z and if you want it to look like the newer model buy the tail lights, and rims, used. It will save you a bundle of money. The rims are sold for a fairly cheap price on ebay, and I ended up buying the stock 06+ depo blacked out replica headlights on ebay was worth every penny.

Personal Opinion on 370z's
The 370s are nice cars as well, I personally don't think its worth the money i test drove them at the dealership was not the least bit impressed. Just slight tech upgrades, more cabin space, and better overall body, definitely not worth the extra money you put out for the car

wherever SOLO-350z is (thank god not on this forum anymore) his neck is wrenching in pain. HR is Faster than DE. Learn it. Repeat it. Hell to him HR was faster than VHR.
