Thumbs down Got scammed by Gotboost1099!

Short story is that I bought from Gotboost1099 his Vortech V3 kit (https://my350z.com/forum/turbos-nitr...ds-gauges.html) with the 3 gauges and he sold the same kit to someone else too. I didn’t get anything, the other buyer got his Turbo kit, so he was scammed too.

I s*cked bigger because I sent the money as gift. He told me someone else (probably nobody) scammed him in the past. I wanted too much the kit, so I sent my last money. Now I lost 2100 USD (+paypal fees) which is a lot of money. Of course I will take any legal options I can, but I don’t want to get anyone else fooled too, so I post here his details.

Nick: Gotboost1099
Name: Anthony Giambri
Paypal/E-mail address: a.giambri@hotmail.com
Phone: 856 701 1722

I hope I post this post in the right topic if not, please move it.

p.s. I hope the other buyers will post their story here too.

Sorry, but you are a fool for sending any amount of $ as a gift. Lesson learned.

Wow I feel very sorry, as I too put trust in people and sent as a gift...

Luckily it was not as much as that. That is a large amount of money. I hope you somehow get your money back, you can try to contact paypal maybe they can help?

talk to your bank. Say the app was running on your phone or you logged into paypal on a public computer and forgot to log off.

I'm really sorry for your loss. But I also can't help but question why you would make such a large purchase from a member with 57 post and "1" on his trader rating? Not to mention, the pics were horrible and description was even worse...

I really wish the Scammer thread about his supposed K1 attack business hadn't been deleted. Situations like that may seem crazy at the time but looking back that sure would have been a great way for people to see what kind of person he was and avoid doing business with him.

He is also on G35, G37, RSX and many other forums... Previous scam on Nico Club Forum click here The buyer had to fix the issues with the car amounting to over $10,000. Much of the issues were things the seller aka Anthony would have known.

From his facebook page...

You've exchanged words with the seller in his K1 car conversion campaign thread back in 2013. I found it and am reading it now. It's over 8 pages and was deleted. I'm deciding whether to restore the thread or not...

I will reserve judgement till both sides come out but based on interaction with Gotboost in the past I don't see this coming to an agreeable end. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I can't believe you don't remember the K1 Attack thread. it was great for the couple days it lasted.

Thanks Vo. Even if the whole thread doesn't come back it would be nice to have part of it as a character reference before doing business with some people.

Thanks for every help. From here Hungary, Europe it's not easy to do anything, but I will be contacted with a Lawyer.

I was to credulous and I thought that he is a reliable seller. This was a lesson for life. I don't think that ever I will see that money, but I like this forum too much to let anybody else s*ck this!
