Default Bay Area Z owners Where are you?

I have had my Z for three weeks now and I have only seen one other Z in the Bay Area so far. I saw a Brickyard Z in SF as I got off the 280 frwy.

I live in Fremont and I have been driving in the City, Half Moon Bay, Fremont, Danville, Mtn. View, Sunnyvale, San Jose and other areas and no sign of anyone else driving their Z? There are supposedly 80 of us on the road now.

Give a shout out of where you guys are and where you have been driving them.

I have a Chrome Silver Performance.

Also, anyone have any problems with the windows? On the inside of both door windows there is a streak of grease each time you roll the windows down and then up. I am going to have the dealer look at it. It is a minor problem, but it is annoying.

I drive my Daytona Blue Performance from my home in Gilroy to work in Mountain View. On weekends I can be found on the backroads. You should see me around!

No window problems here.

I am surprized that I have not seen any 350Z's on the streets. I read on this site about an event in Chicago that had 23 of the 350's at a race track. They all got to take a lap or two. I would love to see something like that in the Bay Area. I haven't seen any new cars in the Dealers' Inventory section of Nissandriven.com since the first group about 3 or 4 weeks ago. My dealer hasn't even gotten his first cars in. What's happening?

Could those of you Bay Area folks who have their cars take pity on us who are frustrated and waiting and have a get together??

Default Get Together Good Idea!

I think that would be a great idea! I am open to meeting up with other 350Z owners in the Bay Area.

I have the Performance Chrome Silver. I now have 2000 miles on my car.

My car is making its way back from Illinois. As of tonight, it's in Ogden, Utah. By Saturday, I'll be cruising all the East Bay roads.

Also the though of SPEEDRING popped into my head. INDOOR Karting woohoo!

If you guys are up for any we can start planning. Let me know!
Also if any of you guys want to go on the dyno and let me test this K and N filter and POP CHARGER!

I've been on the road and haven't seen any either. The Bay Area is a busy, crowded place so it may not be so easy to spot those Z's as they fly around.

Yuichi,
I would love to come by your place for a meet and greet. Also do you carry those cool black license plate holders I saw on the website..those are cool. I may need to get one.

I totally want to join you guys... but my Z doesn't come in until late Oct (at the earliest).

I've been keeping an eye out also every day on my commute (san jose to sunnyvale) but I have yet to see a Z on the road.

But I'll keep looking!

Seen three (other than mine). Put over 1500 miles in the bay area.

The last two threads that discussed getting together has netted very little. Are we waiting for ClubZ? Are we meeting at StricklyZ? Sunday would work for me.

Would love to talk other Z drivers (since I'm one of those non-motorhead types). Been talking to many (non-Z owners) about the car, but would like to be more in receive mode. Thanks.

I still haven't seen a silverstone (or brickyard) in person. I don't know how much longer I can take it. A guy called me from Stevens Creek and said they got in a CS, SS, and SB, but the SS and SB left on the truck to another dealer, any idea where?

I live in Manteca and work in Livermore. I have not seen another Z on the road. Tracy Nissan had 16 pre orders, don't know where they all went to.

Yuichi -

I too would love to come by your place and meet you and other 350Z owners.
When and where? Let me know.

Also I am looking for people that are interested in doing a group buy on 3M XPel kits (aka Clear Bra). Do you know people that are interested?

Drop me an email to start the ball rolling on a meet & greet.

Hey Kawataworks. I think that was me following you off of 280 last week. I've had mine for a month and yours was the first Z I've seen on the road.

I've been thinking about the clear bra but want to see one before I make a final decision.

Where in Mountain View do you work? Do you drive through Mary Ave. in the morning? I may have seen your car a week ago. Daytona Blue is an awesome color!
