TXSTYLE... i had my PIAA parking light bulbs installed by the dealership not knowing that it would be a big job... So when I got the bill I almost crapped my pants... 170 dollars!!!! I asked them to do it after noticing you have to remove the assembly but I figured 30 bucks would be enough to cover it... Apparently NOT! The tech said it's the hugest pain in the *** ever.

great. Now i'm really look forward to 5 hours of taking of the headlight assembly, and 20 minutes of installing the ballasts.

or, spending 200 + bucks to have someone put them on.

This saturday i'm doing it. pics should be up by monday.

i'm not a big fan of 6000k or 8000k bulbs. while they do put out bluer light (which i don't like anyways), it does so at the expense of light output. 4300k lights put out the most light on the road - 6000k less, and 8000k even less.

Hey guys. Just returned from Shreveport!
So, the dealership is gauging us on the light install huh? I just can't believe they would make an assembly so friggin difficult. I'm gonna head up to my local dealer probably tomorrow since my purchase dealer is too far away (fortunately they are building another Trophy Nissan in Mckinney @ 10 min away! ) I will also check with my Lexus shop who have always "hooked me up" on maintenace and mechanical issues.
