I don't want to know what a mid life crisis is since I think I'm supposed to be in that age range.

I too would like a Vette, not some POS Camaro.

Some day, I'll get one. Either that or a Porsche GT3 RS. No big deal.

Except in 3 years owner cost, the porsche would probably cost more in maintenance than the car's base price 😂

Not trying to get flamed but I think a bolted and tuned hr will be right there with a camaro ss in a drag race. Correct me if am wrong but this is how I look at it.

Camaro ss 2013 curb weight 3900 pounds roughly 370 whp stock. Thats 10.54 power to weight ratio.

350z hr fully bolted tuned 305 whp. 1/4 tank of gas(-90 pounds) and single exhaust(-25) no spare(-35) around 3200 pounds curb weight...Power to weight ratio of 10.49

Now I don't know where you guys are coming up with numbers that show camaro running low 12s. The mustang 5.0 which is quicker runs mostly mid to high 12s. Th camaro is a pig.

Stop spreading false info. Check on youtube for real 1/4 mile times and not what the manufacturer post in a magazine. The SS does not run low 12s

Youtube... full of amature and boyracer... soooo damn reliable.

Like i said before doesnt matter what, the z will get stomp by the ss. It is a FACT. The 07-08 z ran a mid 13. The ss runs flat 13s. To make up .5 sec youre gonna need a **** load more than full bolt on. Vq35 engine sucks when it comes to making na powers.

Plain and simple, the ss>350z

We have a member on here than runs 13.0 with bolt ons in his hr. Plenty have ran similar times. Here is his video with a bad clutch. You are missing the point. I did not say a 350z is faster mod for mod.

And he will still lose to an ss. Theyre flat 13s. That means they can run high 12s to low 13s. 13 is average. Again 350z <ss

Also view this thread here that was just an example. Doesn't seem like he had a hell of a lot more bolt as you said is needed to run 13. Just saying

You still dont get it, thats the problem with boy racers....

first of all the ss runs a STOCK time of 13 sec flat ON AVERAGE that means they can either be low 13s to high 12s. Secondly a STOCK hr runs mid 13s which means they can be low 13s to high 13s.

full bolt, perfect driver, perfect conditions. Perfect EVERYTHING, the hr, full bolt on runs mid 12s. An ss can do that with simply a good driver and weight reduction. Not stripped but just weight reduction.

again the ss is better than the 350z. The 350z simply werent meant for drag racing. Thats why they suck at it. Hell, turboed z are running 12s a turbo ss will run 11s all day.

Haha. Too bad I can't race with him inside the car like how Louise the dog, rides in Farm Truck.
