What I like about my DE-propelled Z is that I can take it to a track and really enjoy it, drive it to its full potential, and challenge myself to make it better with my skills. It doesn't matter what else is on the track. I've raced with plenty of other cars that are stronger or faster, but I tend not to notice because I'm having so much fun out there. Besides, sometimes it's the driver that makes the car better to drive.

SSW D5R 18x9 and 18x10. They hold up really well. I've done autox, road courses, and cross country driving. Tires on the other hand...

I've got Sumi HTR III's for now. Looking into other tire options. I have the Hotchkis sways, so control is not that big of an issue.

[QUOTE=Nismo350z#0310;10557197]NismoSupra trumps all!

"But srsly, random mopar fanboy joins Z forum to start arguments and/or rusle jimmies? This is why the GTR forums require a process and several days to allow new members to post threads and replies. Weeds out this kind of mess."

So why are you accusing me of being a random Mopar Fanboy? I didn't do anything to ruffle anyone's feathers or start any arguments.

[QUOTE=turboed350z;10557582]You still dont get it, thats the problem with boy racers....

first of all the ss runs a STOCK time of 13 sec flat ON AVERAGE that means they can either be low 13s to high 12s. Secondly a STOCK hr runs mid 13s which means they can be low 13s to high 13s.

There's a couple videos on youtube of HR z's keeping up with Camaro SS's on the freeway. There are a couple of videos HR z' even beating Srt8 Chargers and Challengers. As an Srt owner I was impressed the VQ35HR engine did so well.

SRT8 challenger is different from the SS camaro in the since the camaro weighs 3850 lbs and the Challenger is a land yacht at 4400 freaking pounds which is why that retarded car can have a Hellcat 700hp and still get beat (in most street settings) by a 500hp C6 z06, which is why I dont give a rats azz for mopar in general. Sorry company keeps just ramming HPs into the equation instead of re-engineering their product overall, in order to gain more efficient speed without just upping the power. Seriously, they need to cut like 1000 lbs out of their car.

I am confident an HR Z could beat and Challenger srt8 in certain circumstances, and know the 300whp bolt on HR bench mark can beat them.

(If you think I'm biased my wife has a hemi Grand Cherokee.)

Want me to make a vid of my girl stock tiburon beating a c5 z06? Point is vid means nothing. These are amature wannabe racer who probably would miss the bench mark 1/4 time set by magazines by a good .5 sec.

Street racing means nothing. A vid can easily be faked. Once again ss>350z. And this is coming from a guy who hate camaro and owns a turboed 350z. Facts are facts. The ss will win on paper and with equal drivers. The ss will win.

Camaro should be faster, but doesn't mean it will be every time. Dude could miss a shift or something, and maybe lose 1 out of 5. Then the Z owner could take just that video and post on YouTube "350Z beats Camaro SS" and it would be true. It's possible he beat one, but not likely to happen every time. Wouldn't mind seeing the video because the Camaro could be thugged out with big *** heavy wheels too and bangin beatZ and maybe would be slower than the Z in this case.

Camaro driver could also be a midget with stumpy legs, so he can't actually reach the gas...

Mustang and camaro are cookie cutter mundane sports cars... Everyone and there mom has one and they are heavy to be considered a sports car. The z has a sub 3000 lb weight and I believe ahead of its time in styling department. Comparing it to a 20+k car or a z06 is ridiculius in a sense. Buy a10k z and buy a used turbo kit and whoop any new v8 with a good driver mod... To each it's own
