First of all Toneloc...

A- i go the wider tires because the 4 black mags and tires that were on it cost me 100$
B- i'am a Welder/Assembler/Pipe Fitter, so that means i can go into the scrap bin and get metal.. My Rear Mounted Caged ide like to put in is free...
C- Slicks as in Track Tires, because the Tires i have on now don't stick like ide like it too.

D- Stock Power? there is an HKS exhaust that a tiny bit more, but even then... the tracks around here... you dont really need more then that, will i get more power... sure why not, i just didnt wannt be that guy that had a list of what to buy...

310HP is plenty for the tracks around.

So if you want to Flame and be a troll, Maybe it's time for you to pick a different hobby.

There is a reason i dont come on these forums anymore, and it's cause of people like you

yeah, the car has more then enough power to have fun around a track. money better spent on suspension and tires then power. Improve the driver then the car!

Likewise... 310hp with just an exhaust maybe to flywheel on an hr...

Cage to me is for a low quarter mile time which is necessary to run at the track...

If your coming on the forum for people to give you cookies cause you slaping together tires a cage and a front lip you may want a different hobby.

Minus tires, cage, and lip great start. Post up some pics of this quality build.

When you say track, do you mean track or strip?

I know, my car is NA putting doesn't about 260hp and runs well on track. It even has aero and a rollbar. Soon to be fully caged.

I highly suggest 18x10 or 10.5 all around with 275/35-18 all around for track use.

I don't know why you are lol'ing at that?

I ran slicks, wider tires and factory power and was exceptionally happy with it.

Apologies for the double post.

Hi!

Thank you for taking your time to comment on another persons build, make smart *** remarks, and then do your best to degrade the bloke.
That's fantastic that you don't like what he has done. I think it's epic.
If you need big power numbers to be competitive I think you should start reviewing your driving.
I had a '89 Miata, factory power, stripped out entirely, caged, factory suspension, and took that down to the local track and had a blast (and kept up comfortably with Type R Civics) in it.
Was that a waste of time?

Sorry i havent been aswering my messages, i dont come on the Forums often.

As for an update, Nothing much for now, anythin i could trade/scavenge is what i could get...

had some extra 3/4" spacers i traded to my buddy for a comlete NRG innovations steering wheel, hub and adapter.

been having fun on the tracnk, suspension is going to have to come up about half inch,
other then that... Still working and having with it.

Also broke the tips of my lip due to certain turns at the track that dip down... nothing major
