Unhappy with clutch action in my HR
I recently sold my 03 Touring and bought a 07 Grand Touring and love everything about the 07 except the clutch feel, too high engagement and very light feel.
I wasn't happy with the 03 either (too heavy) so I bought an RJM and was quite pleased once I dialed it in,
I see on the RJM site that their version 4.0, not yet released, eliminates or greatly reduces the chance of having the "CSC issue" with the 07 and 08s so it makes it doubly attractive for me.
Does anyone know how the clutch pedal change could resolve that CSC problem?

I've got the RJM 3.2, which had a similar claim, but I could never guess why. Works amazingly well, though, and I bought it for the "feel" and adjustability. fWIW, my original clutch setup has 65k on it, and no issues, yet.

Ah ha! I am not alone nor was it my overactive imagination!
I share your pain. I made it very public my disdain for the clutch engagement in my '08 particularly when compared with my '03.
You've already seen the recommended solution above - swapping out the likely "going out" concentric piece of sh*t slave cylinder with the ZSpeed unit. And/or the addition of the RJM pedal, allegedly "how the factory should have done it".
I wish I could tell you how well it all works - because I have all the parts - new CSC, master, JWT clutch & flywheel - sitting in a box in the garage. Just haven't gotten around to it.
My shop, Rob Fuller's Z Car Garage concurs on the recommended solution. I will be having them replace it all in due time (I'm far too lazy and tired of crawling around on the floor) but know that at least the fix is validated by a pro/Z-specialist. The shop will be doing mine in steps; that is, the clutch/CSC first then if I still want further adjustability of the engagement height and feel, will opt for latest RJM pedal.

I can drop them an email, since it seems to have gotten worse. Although I had some good launches today where I was able to release it right to the engagement point and not have it catch on the way. More luck than anything, but it felt good.
i like the feel of the clutch vs the de's. it feels more like my s14's. My wifes de wears out my leg after a while. In taffic it sucks *****. Im definitely going to use the zspeed csc though
