Sorry dude, not much sympathy here. Some of us, like me, ordered in January and still don't have our cars. I just got my VIN and expected delivery date today. So don't get to impatient after 3 short months.
For what it's worth, your dealer should be able to get a build month and expected delivery month for you. After it's built and on the ship, you can get a VIN and expected delivery date. They aren't really that accurate though, and sometimes you have to pull teeth to get them.
Did you get a tracking number yet?

I feel your pain Nordy, I ordered in early June as well, but the "January people" on here have a VERY good point. I try to keep them in mind whenever I get really impatient. Our suffering can't compare to theirs. Only two months now, we can make it.

Here is another way to look at it...

The January people are already used to waiting 8+ months, so they have a thicker skin than us May people. It makes sense that we should get our cars first. j/k

Default Joke

This whole thing is getting more ridiculous every day. The fact that people in January are still waiting shows nissans utter incompetence. I can't believe people that ordered in March after me, have their cars already. I hope nissan never makes another car I want. I would not be a buyer. All you Jan/Feb people still without are better people than I. I can't wait to see the dealers face when I tell him to get his sticker off my car. Im a little embarrased that I preorderd and am still holding....well...myself. This really is getting to me.

All I have to say is that soon I am going to need professional help if I don't get any more information on delivery or production... My dealer has done alot for me so it is not a lack of effort on their part but I am really wanting my car... One thing that really pissed me off was to see a dealer put a car on ebay that had the exact options and color that I orderd..... Oh well I guess the wait will make it that much sweeter when it does come though I could really use more information if I had a gerneral 2 week delivery window or know when my car goes or went in to production or anything that would let me know aprox how much more waiting I have to go then it will make it easer. It is like waiting for Christmas and never knowing when it is just that is it coming before the end of the year..... Z

I ordered mine beginning of September, and was told to expect it in Dec-Jan. This dealer in Jacksonville had 7 preorders alloted to them, and they filled it up in a month, so nissan bumped up there allotment to 17. Apparantly, the more cars a dealer can sell, nissan bumps up their monthly allotment accordingly. My point is that, folks might have different wait periods depending on how big or small their dealer is. Ofcourse, this is just my take, I could be wrong, who knows. I'm going crazy out here man...and to top it off, the mechanic just told me that i need new shocks on my 94 accord beater. That's $500, which I was planning to spend on the clear-bra. I have to talk to my therapist...

Does any body know why it is taking so long for the perorders to get here? Why are people who ordered in Jan-March time frame getting their cars in November? Are the preorders going to get their cars at the same time the general public can buy off the show room floor?
