Default What should I ask for?...

Hey guys I've got an '04 roadster that finally gave up the ghost. The motor is blown! (133,000 miles) The car otherwise is in great shape, everything else works on it , no body damage, I spent 2K on a new top last summer, it has TSW Vortex rims 19" ( staggered and the two fronts are new tires new as well), pioneer navigation head unit, Boston Acoustic Pro 6 1/2's in the door and Morel 6X9's in the rear with Alpine PDX 4 channel amp pushing all that and a infinity basslink powered 10" sub for bass, interior is in great shape with exception to the drivers seat ( seat section separated at the seams), anyhow I'm debating doing an engine swap then selling or just selling as is. If I sell as is what would think I should ask for it?

2k.... , doesn't matter what you have on it... worthless without it running. either sell it cheap, or throw and LS in there and turn it into a drift machine

You are probably better off parting out nobody in the market for a car with a blown engine is going to care about what speakers you have or how new the tires are... Thats just bonus **** that happened to come with the deal. Used audio equipment is pretty much worthless. But the rest will probably sell and net you more then selling whole.

I agree- without a running engine in it, your ZR plummets in value.

But 133K is pretty low miles on the durable VQ35DE, what caused it to blow up?

Swapping out the instrument cluster at 150k with a quality used one with 65k on it could cause the problem.

LOL @ these comment!.. I would definitely look into getting a new engine, especially if you can get labor for cheap

Buy cheap engine or buy parts and build current blown engine.

You probably could get a gallo 12 or gallo 24 for a good price used.

LOL @ Brian Earl Spilner
