i was told it can't be done by an alarm retailer.

 

I've heard of a fuel cut swtich that doesn't allow the fuel to flow.

 

If you look under the secret compartment in your glove box, you will see an access panel that leads to the top of the gas tank. This is where you access the fuel pump. If you want to install a fuel cut, its probably the easiest place to do it.

However, because of the chip in the key, its really overkill (IMHO). Car won't start without the key, so no need for fuel cut.

 

what do u mean by kill switch?

 

The transpoder chip in the key sends its info to the ECU of the car. No key, ECU won't let engine start.

(Or so I read somewhere... there is another post in the security section on this I think...)
